The place looked amazing. I wish I would have stayed longer. It’s just peaceful and beautiful. Beds were super comfortable and staff was nice and friendly.

I’m not sure if it’s always like that but there was a wedding that day so the restaurant was not open. Because it’s a place kind of far away from other places it would be nice to have the option to have lunch or dinner there as week.

Great staff, beautiful property, rooms were stunning, and it had a good breakfast. This is definitely a place I would return to!

During our stay, they had two weddings, and because we were on the main floor, it became too loud, especially as they partied into the early mornings.

The property and the castle next to is really beautiful! Unbelievable wedding venue and the wine museum and wine tasting was excellent. The wine tour guide Salvatore was very good and gave us great wines to try. Generally an excellent property .

The location is far out in the middle of nowhere.

Everything was magical about this stay. the room, the fresh breakfast , the people and the castle is just so beautiful and spectacular. The winery was also a plus.

Only thing is that if there is an event, it can get very loud. So please check with them if there is an event. Especially during the Fridays and the weekends .

Food here is amazing as is the property itself. Breakfast is extensive and FRESH!! Dinner was 5 star! Service was top notch and everyone was super friendly. A++ on all accounts.

The AC could be better, but in fairness it was 97º F during our stay.

Amazing place with beautiful grounds and the most friendly, helpful staff. The pool is so relaxing and everything is exceptionally well kept.

Everything was amazing, we did wine tasting and walked around the castle few times. The breakfast was also nice 😊

Loved our stay and can't wait to come back. I have to tell you you should do a wine visit/tasting with Marco. He is unique! He is SO nice, he treated us so well, he took us to a private visit of the vineyards, of the castle, of the wine museum, we did a wine tasting with him and he even got us some extra bottles for free, all this for a super cheap price and he added 2 big tables of local delicacies. This does not happen anywhere only here! A shout out to Marco for being the superman of the Castelo, he does everything and he is always happy to treat guests. The place is incredibly beautiful, the castle..everything. Rooms are beautiful, pool is amazing and relaxing. There are a few rooms and the rest is mainly prepared for the weddings although during the day you are free to go around as you wish.

I loved everything but one small thing is that You should know that in the evenings it can get a bit noisy due to the weddings. The big wedding is not an issue but sometimes the pool closes at 6pm due to small gatherings there and it is a bit annoying that we cant use the pool anymore because of that. I did not mind the noise as i was with friends and it was not TOO bad, but if you want to go to bed at 10pm in total silence, you should check maybe before if those days you stay have gatherings on the pool.
