The host went out of her way to accommodate our early arrival making us very welcome. The location was amazing, in a quiet beautiful street very close to the Arabic Quarter. We went in winter in February and the rooms were very comfortable and warm at night. She brought lovely fresh sicilian pastries in the morning, which made children very happy. We learned a lot about Sambuca as the host has a wealth of knowledge to share and speaks excellent English which was a blessing. We can't wait to return again.

Marisa is a warm and welcoming host, answering all our many questions. Her English is impeccable, having lived in the USA for more than a decade. Marisa provided a different Sicilian breakfast treat every morning- yum! The room was very large, sunny and immaculately clean. Fantastically hot water in the shower and excellent heating int the room. We extended our stay one extra night because we were so comfortable and at home at the Stanze dell’Emiro. The B&B is in the heart of the Saracen (Arab) section with a dedicated parking spot right in from of the property. Everything is in walking distance.

Everything was perfect - definitely stay here if you are coming to Sambuca di Sicilia, il piu bello di belli Borghi in Sicilia.

We arrived by bicycle on on the Sicily Divide route, and immediately had a safe and secure place to store our bikes. The town is lovely and our host is kind and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable and we wanted for nothing. Breakfast was brought from the local bakery and absolutely delicious. We had a lovely time here.

Such a hidden gem in the middle of Sicily! We loved how hospitable and caring the host was. We had our own parking spot, a very spacious and clean room with ensuite bathroom and even access to a second room with extra two beds. The views from the room are amazing, and the location is unbeatable. Delicious breakfast and local recommendations, thanks for making our stay in Sambuca di Sicilia so nice!

The property is very clean. Great location. Close to the centre. Host was very helpful when asked for recommendations. Freshly baked breakfast served every morning.

We loved our stay here! The hosts had great suggestions and travel tips. The room was beautiful and much bigger then expected. The neighborhood is full of history and walking distance to everywhere you want to be. We loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay, extremely clean and comfortable. Marisa is a fantastic host and went out of her way to help us with anything we needed. Very quaint, traditional Sicilian style with lovely modern touches and in a great location. Would definitely recommend. We’ll be back!
