Beautifull setting, very spacious and interesting. Our room was also spacious, more than we expected in a village. Staff is trying to do their best. Manager Luisa is doing a very good job.

My horseback riding trainer Francesca was completly uninterested in anything taknig phone calls, writing messages and recording voices during my class (yes, during riding) and this was my first time. Didnt tell me anything about horses or the ride, I tried to catch her attention with questions between her phone calls to learn at least something. I believe she is only cooperant of the Borro property so I has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

Charming and unique location, stunning horses and great food&wine! The staff at concierge tried their best to accommodate our requests. Lovely wine tasting experience. Great variety of activities to try!

Not equipped for newborn / infant who require changing spaces. The service we experienced at Osteria del Borro is not at the right level for this type of venue, and should be improved; However the meal was delicious. The Quality, presentation and choice variety of the room service also needs improvement.

The property offers a variety of accommodation suitable for all travelers (family, couple, etc) Location is stunning and vast - there are shuttles available from morning to night so it’s super easy to get around. Activities vary from horse riding, cooking classes, golf, bike riding, etc. Outside the property you’d need a car, it’s a bit secluded so it’s highly suggested to rent a car to get here. A huge shoutout to the staff: from the friendly and respectful concierge team, to the flexible and fun shuttle drivers, to the respectful and highly trained room service staff, everything was impeccable. We were here for a photo shoot for our wedding and they tried to make everything happen for us. They made arrangements for us at every turn and that’s important. It shows care for the guests. PS - even the guests were friendly 😂

The only thing we did not like was the Fine Dining restaurant. The food and service were not as expected.

The amount of mosquitos even in the rooms and whenever one opened a door or window that there was no golfing instructor during that week the furnishing of the room and that it was very dark inside so that one almost always had to have a light on

From when we arrived to when we left, we were amazed by the facilities. This property was very charming but also modern. Estrella at the reception was incredibly helpful in planning an itinerary before the trip, and taking care of every minute detail throughout our stay. The staff here is absolutely lovely and we are definitely coming back.

The bugs but I don’t think there’s much to be done about that. We did find a stink bug in the room towards the end of the trip

We stayed at Il Borro for a wedding. The whole experience was amazing - 5*+. Il Borro is a collection of accommodation and facilities over a huge estate. The accommodation includes rooms in a mediaeval village, villas, etc. Free transport is available on request between any part of Il Borro. Service is always friendly, polite and professional. They set out the various events (eating, wedding ceremony etc) beautifully. Food is wonderful. The produce excellent wine on the estate. The very picturesque estate is set well into the country and all one can hear are the birds singing. My wife and I would heartily recommend Il Borro to anyone wanting a relaxing, high class stay.

Ensure there is full length mirror in every suite.

The location was nice. Breakfast was on the highest level as well as the service in the bar.

This was not our first stay in the hotel of Relais & Chateaux and we expected a bit higher level in some aspects. We had suite on the first floor but someone lived on the second floor. Every morning at 6 o’clock someone started to walk upstairs, clean, move furniture and use bathroom. These sounds woke us up in the early morning. The second thing was not enough attention to the details, for example, the beauty kit wasn’t refilled, personal cosmetics were gathered and put into the cosmetic bag though I left them beautifully stay on the basin, the tray wasn’t cleaned (there were some tea leaves left on it). These are small things that have to be ideal in the hotels of this level.

Wonderful estate and hotel! There are so many things to do and explore. The old village and the rooms there are fantastic and one of a kind. The infinity pool and the other pools are great. It is a very stylish and chic hotel. The gardens and horse stables are also lovely.

Honestly, the service is a disaster - unfriendly, incompetent & not even close to 5-stars and especially Relais & Châteaux standard!
