Absolutely nice mountain hotel in superb location at 2000 m with superb view in every direction, facility was spotless clean, we had a big room with 2 windows facing the Costaces peak( by the way worth to visit), so only stars could disturb our sleep, breakfast delicious( fresh prepared eggs with speck, tiramisu and much more), local dishes for dinner in excelllent quality, nice and helpfull staff.. it could not be better… busy during the day because of parking in proximity of Peiterkofel round trail , then very quiet in the evening when the crowd returned to the valley… if you prefer hike without almost no one, head to Monte Muro!!! We will definitely come back, one of our best stays ever

Location and view are amazing, the hotel is a few meters away from the start of many hikes. The hotel and the rooms looks brand new, everything is clean. It’s very calm and you don’t hear noise from other room. The breakfast is one of the best we had ! Very good ratio price/value.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you have to get dinner on site and we didn’t liked the menu (too germanish). You cannot make coffee or tea in the room (no boiler). Wifi connection was poor but in the middle of the wild, we didn’t care about it.

love the hotel and front desk! they are really helpful and kind. the hotel is definitely special located there with brilliant view and space around! Food are well serve!

Amazing hotel. The views are stunning directly from the room. The restaurant is excellent and the service is great (thank you Michael). It is directly next to the Putia trail, 4-5 hours of loop trail around an incredible peak. If possible I recommend a 2 night stay.

hotel has a perfect location for tracking, very beautiful view to the mountains, especially enjoy the sunset and starry sky. Stuff is friendly, nice and quick waiters, clean and spacious room. Good choice for breakfast.

Rooms were big and clean. Bed was extremely comfy! Staff is great! Always smiley and helpful. Not to mention the location: fantastic! Looking forward to going bac there!

Dinner: very little choice of vegetarian options.

The property is located in the most beautiful area imaginable. Staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I see myself returning to this hotel.

Breakfast selection could be improved. It is known that heavy breakfasts are not common in Italy, but you host international guests, that would expect: scrambled eggs; sausages and vegetables maybe. Wifi connection could be improved, especially considering that hotel area in general does not have good connection, so simple calls or sms’s are not always an option.

The view!! it’s absolutely stunning! loved our room, the bar and restaurant were great, the staff were so lovely and the breakfast was amazing. So peaceful at night too, just perfect!

the drive to the hotel is long…especially after a long day of hiking. Also VERY narrow one way road

You can't beat this location - best place to start the Sass de putia hike. Staff was very friendly and even gave us complimentary champagne because it was our honeymoon.
