Room was comfortable, with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. It was air conditioned which made for comfort with outside temperatures of more than 30 degrees at night. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, providing a very wide choice of hot and cold food. Dinner in the restaurant was to a very high standard with a wide choice of menu' served by very attentive, smiling staff. Reception staff were always smiling and very helpful.

The room was a little small for two people to move around freely. Supply of tea , coffee and toiletries were not replenished each day, but a visit to reception soon put that right. As the room overlooked a main road, traffic noise made sleep difficult, but we became accustomed to it. The hotel didn't have a lounge or bar where guests could enjoy a relaxing drink, but there were a number of cafe bars within 100 metres of the hotel.

Perfect location to explore the city on foot - directly at the sea and only 5-10minutes by walk to all main attractions of Sanremo like gardens of Villa Orpund, Villa Nobel, new and old harbor, Casino, shopping streets, market. Staff was extremly friendly and breakfast was very good. Our room in 5th floor had a beautiful big balcony with a stunning view.

The room was not properly cleaned when we arrived (toilet seat dirty, dust on hairdryer and furniture). The street is very loud (but this is a general problem of Sanremo, nothing to do with the hotel).

The cleanliness could be improved-just things like the the glass doors on the inside of the hotel have finger prints all over them, there are some blocks on the side of the stairs that had so much dust that you could see it. The rooms were OK. Our bed cover had a stain on it and the cleaning lady was very happy to change it for me. There were two thin pillows for each of us but i would have liked a medium pillow. I probably could have asked but didnt think to until now.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, both at the front desk and the hospitality staff. The location was excellent, merely a 30 second walk to the beach. We had a sea view balcony too which was wonderful to have lunch on. The breakfast, which was included and located in the neighbouring restaurant, had a great selection. There was also an in-room fridge and aircon(lifesaver!). Would highly recommend and would consider staying here again.

Beautiful view of the sea from the balcony in the room and excellent customer service. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and spoke enough English to help me!

The wifi was a little slow but that's just Italian infrastructure.

Property was great we just didn’t realize the main road was right in front of hotel so it was noisy. Short walk from the train station was great

the location of the property was amazing, steps from the beach and San Reno port. Many cafes and shops are around the corner. The customer service was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Marinella Very handy An inexpensive and immaculately clean hotel just a short hop from the beach at San Remo, it is situated in a very handy location as a base to visit not only the busy town with its’ pedestrianised main shopping street but also the bustling market on Saturdays. The staff are sympathetic, courteous and helpful, especially when dealing with the vagaries of the in-house parking and all the foibles associated with parking in Italy. The spacious rooms are well equipped with airconditioning, TV, fridge et cetera and although the shower is impressively powerful it is realistically meant for very slim, small Italians or larger children. The buffet breakfast provided at the restaurant next door is sufficient and adequately varied, a good start to the morning. My only contention would be that the comfortable bed was paired with thin and unforgiving pillows, but that’s a personal choice which I usually overcome by bringing my own. All in all a very pleasant stay, it’s an hotel I would recommend.
