We were originally going to stay at some other property in San Vito lo Capo - and the other ones cancelled our reservation alleging double booking as we were driving there to check in. We ended up staying at Baguio La Porta instead - and boy are we happy to have been left stranded by the other hotel! The hotel itself was impeccable. The drive there felt surreal. The actual place was way beyond our expectations. We were there for two days, but I honestly wish we had stayed for a whole month. The rooms were amazing, the pool area was fantastic, the staff were very helpful, breakfast was simple but amazing… I cannot recommend this enough.

We were traveling as a family - with two young children (4 year old and 9 month old!). There were no restrictions on being there with kids (and later we found out there were more families with children) but everything had a relaxing spa feeling, and it was all very quiet until we got there =D It’s not something I didn’t like - and it was actually my fault - but I did feel like happy kids playing at the pool was not really in sync with the vibe of the rest of the guests at the hotel.

Beautiful hillside location that allows you to get away from the very crowded San Vito lo Capo but only 10-15 mins away We did half board so had a very nice breakfast and either lunch or dinner included. We ended up having a third meal there on two occasions as the food is so delicious. I regret not asking for a cooking lesson to learn how to make their paccheri pasta with pistachio and red prawns (ps no idea if they offer that!) The pool is small, but it gets shade which in 42C heat meant it was a very nice temperature and frankly a welcome relief Beautiful features and well designed we booked very last minute as our flight was cancelled and we had to stay in Sicily for extra days, but this made it very pleasant

The stairs to our daughters’ suite were frankly dangerous - they need some kind of railing / warning. I wouldn’t put an old or inflexible person in that room. Having said that two of the teenagers did fall down the stairs but they’re bouncy at that age 

Location was beautiful up in the hills, the facilities were great and well maintained,the staff very polite and accommodating. We would say a car hire is a must to get about and visit local beaches, restaurants and shops etc We ate at the restaurant at the Hotel once but preferred to go out to San Vito lo capo as there was much more choice and value for money.

We would of loved to have a tea- coffee facility in the room.

The hotel and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was great and had a wide variety of foods and beverages. The room in which we stayed was very cozy and comfortable. Also, everyone from the hotel staff was really helpful to all our requests and was really kind!

Location and decoration wonderful

There is no words to describe the beauty of these place! Between the mountains with the amazing sea view. The massage and the food was also great. The stuff members was really nice.

The water in the shower wasn't hot enough... And if the jacuzzi in the terrace was hot it could have been amazing

Everything was wonderful. The place is nice, the room was very big and clean. Delicious rich breakfast, Nice and quiet area, close enough to San Vito lo Capo and the beautifull Lo Zingaro nature reserve. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

An absolutely beautiful and unique place for a short vacation. PS: tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.
