Great stay in a charming little city with some really good restaurants.. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds with a garden and two adorable cats. Breakfast was typical Italian pastries, and occasionally delicious apple or almond custard cake, with good coffee. The room and bathroom were big and the bed comfy. If you have a road facing room you can hear the traffic. The window and doors do a good job blocking it but if you're on the balcony it is pretty loud at times. The location is fantastic if you have a car, we didn't but still found it very doable. There are two train stations each a 30 minute walk. One gets you to Sorrento and Pompeii easily the other is the best for going to Naples. It's not a tough walk but when you've been walking sightseeing all day you can feel it. There is a bus 5 minute walk, the 76, that takes you to Naples and back but limited schedule, we took it a few times and it worked great. Highly recommend this B&B if you want to get out of the craziness of the city after sightseeing all day.

Looking at the photos of the house we expected it to be small, but when we saw it in real life we were impressed. The room were big and spacey, clean, decent and comfortable. The staff is a family that has this building and at the arrival they offered to cook us dinner for a reasonable price, and it was very tasty. The location of Santa Maria la Carita is very close to Pompei, but you’d have to take the train, bus or private car. It’s also close to Sorrento. If you travel by train like we did, the train station to get off was Pioppaino (of Castellamare di stabia town) and you’d have to walk around 20-30 minutes to get to the house, but the town offers public transportation. They even had cats, one being so sociable and cute you’d want to take home with you.

Spacious ,clean, good location for what we had plan. just 20 mins driving from Naples airport. a hand full of minutes away from Pompeii and a short drive for the Amalfie coast. Buonocore is located in Santa Maria La Carita a small town with a great variety of typical Italian food. good free parking facilities just a minute away from the property. Nunzia and her children were very polite and helpful with advice of things to see and do around the area. also the first time we met Nunzia she welcome us with her very own home made limoncello, one of the best I ever tasted.

This is not a 5 start hotel, but we were not looking for one. we prefer family business to help the locals rather than big corporations.

The family were lovely and we loved their cat. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. Our room faced onto the street so didn't really have a view but the view from the garden was good. We were also really grateful that they chauffered us to and from the train station for a small charge. The hosts also told us about local events and recommended us places to go.

I can’t say enough good things about this place, feels more like you’re staying with family than a hotel. Rooms are super clean and comfy, located in a quiet beautiful town close mount Vesuvius and Pompeii ruins. Morning breakfast includes freshly baked cakes that are beyond yummy. Can’t wait to stay again.

Climation working only 1 hour and after switch off, so in hot night you must wake up free times per night because is hot and turn on the machine. Small fridge

The property was clean and big. The host and his mother has been very kind and responded to all our needs. The breakfast was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property.

We arrived very late at night and we had hard time finding the unit because it was located at the back of the host’s building

Very friendly hosts, lots of good advice from Alfredo, Maria and Alfredo's sister. It is pleasant and interesting to communicate with them. There is a very cozy atmosphere in the house and in the yard. In the morning it is nice to have a cup of coffee sitting in the yard under a lemon tree. The car is parked right in the yard in front of the entrance doors to the house, it's super convenient and safe. The only thing missing was a closet or shelves in the rooms, then it would be possible to arrange things without keeping them in suitcases.

The breakfast area overlooks a beautiful back garden/orto where the owners grow their own produce which they use for breakfast and dinner. The home made tarts at breakfast and the limoncello were excellent. The owners were extremely helpful.

The B&B hosts were extremely nice and it felt like you are being hosted by a distant family that you have never met. It had a beautiful garden one could enjoy for breakfasts (especially when the weather is nice!). The location offers free parking (we had a rental from Napoli airport) and the area is in the middle of all attractions and destinations (Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and all the small villages on the coast), it is also very close to Napoli. The room was exactly what we have booked: spacious and bright. For those that love sweet breakfast, it will hit all points as the host baked fresh pies from scratch for us and made nice coffee. Camilla, daughter of the host, was so accommodating and offered many tips on travelling around and exploring the Amalfi coast. We wish her all the success in her studies! The hosts can pack sandwiches if you go on a long trip and can organize home made Italian dinner for extra cost- albeit, we did not have the chance to try the home made dinner.

We were very happy with our stay but I have just one small suggestion to improve the breakfast. It is true that the hosts strive to immerse the guests into the Italian culture and cuisine but I would like to see more savory options for those who don't eat sweet breakfast.
