Albero Capovolto is our new favorite hotel! Situated on an estate with olive trees, beautiful flowers, and a pool, the owner, who is also a designer (and it shows!), has created 7 stunning rooms. You can see that a lot of care and love went into every detail. It's delightful to be surrounded by so much beauty and to be spoiled by Erica, who cooks wonderfully with local ingredients. The host is always ready with tips and ideas that turned out to be perfect every time. And perhaps most importantly: the atmosphere! Thanks to the small scale of the hotel and the super kind host and his crew (who were also very sweet to our dog), we had a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back!

We don’t normally write reviews but I can’t express how much we enjoyed our stay at Albero. Alessandro is the embodiment of calm and an absolutely fantastic host. We had forgotten to notify ahead of time that we wanted dinner (really recommend doing this as the dinner is divine) and I am gluten free. With just 1 hour before serving, Alessandro and the chef managed to adapt and prepare a beautiful meal. This flexibility and going the extra mile for the guest is evident throughout your stay. On top of this, it is one of the most stunning places we have ever stayed at; the house itself is gorgeously designed and filled with lovely interiors and has a tranquility that you rarely get, even in the best hotels. Nothing - perfect throughout

We've had the most wonderful stay, the best of our weeks in Sardinia. Allessandro and his small team really went out of their way to make our stay the best ever and we loved the atmosphere, our beautiful room (and super comfy beds!), and impressive grounds, the gorgeous swimming pool and the super delicious food! A big thank you for everything. We will be back for sure!

We would have loved to stay longer and be able to have more time at Albero Capovolto, and more lovely dinners from Erica! But as it was the end of the season we have already been lucky.

Outstanding breakfast and dinner with healthy, natural and authentic ingredients - always homemade with "love and passione". Stunning countryside surroundings, refreshing infinity pool, beautiful style in and out and a perfect shooting location - everything looks like a in a boutique lifestyle magazine, but filled with warmth and authenticity. Warmhearted service, Alessandro is living his dream, going the extra-mile every single day and fulfilled all our wishes (and even more, e.g. he surprised us in the evening with our favourite Sardinian dish "Fregola Sarda") and organized unforgettable excursions with trustworthy partners. We couldn't have imagined a better host or place!

This is one of our favourite places we have ever stayed at!! Everything was just perfect. The owner Alessandro was always there when you needed something and Erica the chef was so friendly and cooked the most delicious meals. The interiors were so beautiful too!! I do recommend getting a car to get around.

Albero Capavolto is a gem. Not my first visit and definitely not my last. Alessandro and all the staff make life simple and relaxing. Nothing is a problem. Dinners with chef Erica not to be missed in the garden setting. Very comfortable for traveller alone or with friends/family.

if I could add anything it would be a small fridge in the room. I am sure there is a good reason why there is not :)

A truly special stay, the location and design of the house are absolutely amazing, it is an oasis. Alessandro is possibly the best host we have ever had and made us feel at home, you really notice that he goes the extra mile to make his guests as comfortable as possible. Breakfast and dinner were both very good, with great service and high quality local produce.

Everything about our stay was divine - we were the last visitors at the end of the season and even still Alessandro and his team went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. The property is stunning and impeccably decorated, the food was some of the most beautiful and fresh we had and Alessandro himself is such a delight. No notes!! We would recommend this property to anyone and everyone.

The breakfast has plenty of choice and arranged on an individual tray. Eggs were available to order. Coffee very good. The gardens kept very well with plenty of colour and style. Swimming pool always exceptionally clean and is salt water. Personal service appreciated always from Alessandrio and Max.

I had not realised how difficult it is in this area to find taxis. When you do find one the fares are very expensive for short distances but I had been told to expect this.

We had a wonderful stay at Albero Capovolto. The minute we arrived and met Alessandro, the owner, we felt at home. He created a small peace of heaven. The small hotel and garden are beautiful, you have a nice pool area with views over the surrounding landscapes and the interior design is just perfect with high quality and sustainable materials. We had the master suite which is a small house you have four yourself. Breakfast is served on the terrace at your table. You get fresh fruit, yoghurt and granola, eggs, toast, cheese and ham, self-made cake and cookies, freshly pressed orange juice and of course coffee or tea. Some evenings of the week they offer a three course dinner menu. They always serve home-made authentic italian food. We had dinner in the hotel anytime it was possible, as it was so delicious.
