Just a stunning boutique hotel with lovely decor and stunning pool and sun lounge areas. Rooms were really stylish and housekeeping was excellent with a turn down service in the evenings. The cleaning staff deserve special recognition as the whole hotel is kept immaculate including the pool areas. Maddalena really is a jewel in the Archipelago of NE Sardinia and the location of the Ma & Ma was great with nearby beach and a pleasant 20 minute walk into the charming town with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Rooms don’t have tea or coffee making facilities. Main restaurant too expensive and focussed on sea food for the island when compared to restaurants in Maddalena although there was a very good pizzeria adjacent to the hotel which was reasonably priced though . The price of drinks at the poolside bar was off putting with locally produced Sardinian beer being almost 8 times the price that it is in the supermarket. Disappointing also was the single bottle of complimentary water (for 2 of us in the room) on arrival which was not replaced daily.

We loved la Maddalena islands - it was possible to walk into the town from the hotel in about 30 minutes which was a good option in the evening. The beaches and town area on the island are beautiful. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing and the pool area was nice and clean. Our room was also very clean - and we appreciated the dressing gowns and towels!

The drinks were very expensive - which we understand for a cocktail but it felt unreasonable for beers and wine, especially as we’ve stayed at multiple other hotels in Sardinia over the last couple weeks and there was always an option for a cheaper beer/wine. The hotel style felt a little more corporate rather than comfortable.

The hotel is more than walking distance from La Maddalena, it is a modern building a bit strangely located, no beach but a small swimming pool at the back of the hotel, the staff is very polite and welcoming, the breakfast buffet is very good, with some local specialties of high standard (cheese for instance, butter biscuits, etc), the rooms are with a very nice finish, high quality furniture and faucets.

The welcome cocktail is poor, it is the design of the rear area with the pool and the small garden that I found disappointing, otherwise the service level is faultless.

Very delicious breakfast, room and bed were very comfortable. A/C works great and goes to 20 C Pool is great and bar service at the pool is efficient. Short walk to punta tegge which has beautiful small beaches for swimming and snorkelling, a great spot to watch the sunset and a delicious restaurant Zi Anto. The spa in the hotel is amazing and has amazing facilities.

No iron / ironing board, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Very clean and good organized hotel. The Sea tour with La dolce vita boat is also a highlight. You are pretty near to the beach, city and you have directly 2 options to eat(restaurant and a Pizzeria).

the Restaurant has almost only fisch or seafood on the menu. for non -fisch people are not so many options if you want to go for diner entire holiday. Of course you have also a Pizzeria but also you can not eat pizza every day.

Wonderful situated swimming pool in between two natural rocks with a nice little garden and one elevated spot to overlook the city of La Maddalena and the Sea. City, port and beaches accessible by car. Next beach at the foot of the hill. Very modern interior, nice rooms. Excellent breakfast. The island is worth to be explored for 2-3 days by car with its hidden wonderful beaches and rocky hills on its twin Isle Caprera.

Indoor pool and Spa area are not included.

WOW - We have landed in the lap of LUXURY! The Hotel and property were BEAUTIFUL. Our rooms were huge, gorgeous and private deck area to lounge. It is a little outside the main area, so a car would be helpful. We loved our welcome cocktails, and with so many nooks around the pool area we found it relaxing. The breakfast is HUGE & DELICIOUS ( fresh honeycomb honey !!!)

The weather was too cold to get in that gorgeous pool .. bummer

Thé location - bit away from the center , and just a few meters from a wonderful beach, Punta Tegge. The awesome staff, and the whole hotel ambiance, pool, rocks, garden, it was like paradise! Food and beverage were excellent too! We really were pampered at this beautiful hotel❤️

Because we stayed longer (9 nights), would have been nice to get better room rates. Still, value for money is excellent, considering it was high season.

The decor is so very stylish and the entire hotel smelt Devine. I am especially in love with the croc skin toilet suite in the toilets by the restaurant! I must copy this for my own home! The grounds around the pool are lovely, all nestled into the rocks with comfortable bean bag beds and drinks brought to your lounger. A pure sense of class and relaxation. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the lunch menu never once disappointed. The staff are a friendly team always on hand to help. TOP ‘MUST DO’ TIP: a short walk from the hotel towards the small beach will take you to a fish restaurant - Zi Anto Head there for sunset. They hand out cushions for you to sit out on the rocks and you can buy a drink or two whilst you sit back and watch the sunset go down to Ibiza style chill out music. After marvelling at the stunning sunset head inside the restaurant for some amazing fish dishes and great service.

The hotel shuttle that takes you the few minutes ride into town would be handy if it did a later pick up
