- jacuzzi in the room - comfy bed - bistro was nice and with good food

The main problem was that the place was misadvertise - we expected exclusive relaxing mood (as advertised) while turned out that the swimming pool is public, you have to deal with screaming kids at 9 am in swimming pool, they organise parties going on till 1 am with loud music on the property also open for people out of the guests. This hasn't been communicated before and disturbed our stay to the point we didn't use swimming pool at all. Other things: -checkout at 10 am, too early -cleaning room up to 12 and breakfast till 10am but if you are on holiday and you want to sleep a bit, you miss both (and how, since there was loud music going on till 1 am the previous night?) - smelly bathroom -balcony was dirty with sticky floor -poor wifi

It is on the 1st floor and there was noise from the kitchen until late around 11:30 p.m. which disturbed sleep a little

Gelso Bianco is located remotely on a hill, but in a driving distance to Modena or Maranello. The both restaurants share the kitchen and produce very tasty meals. Cannot enough recommend. the breakfast is ok but not exceptional. the rooms are nice and spacious.

the pool is nice and large but it is overcrowded in the afternoon, as the facility is open to public. so forget about any family time by the pool later in the day. there is no lift in the house, which might be a problem for some.

Gorgeous setting in the hillside with a lovely pool ,beautiful gardens and delicious food. The staff were very helpful and the Gelso suite with jacuzzi bath tub and amazing views is definitely recommended. The resort is popular with the locals and we were the only English people there which was amazing. A great place to visit if you fancy a traditional wine tasting experience at the local winery or a visit to Maranello to see the Ferrari factory or the Lamborghinis at Modena . You’ll not be disappointed.

If only the food menu could have been in English as well as Italian it would have made sure we could have fully enjoyed the beautiful food choices as google translate certainly had a work out!

Gelso is nicely located in Emilia, with views of the hillside. The hotel room was pretty large, light and a bath with disco lights. Also good restaurants around and full breakfast.

The hotel is located on a country resort. A lot of Italians are coming here, this gives a vibrant atmosphere but was too crowded and noisy for us.

Location and view from the room. Plenty of space in our bedroom and good size bathroom. Parking for hotel guests by the front door. Nice food and choice of two restaurants on site.

Had to get into the bath to turn the tap on given how big it was! Given the size of the room, it could have done with having a sofa. No lift, so had to carry luggage up the stairs. WiFi stopped working after first day.

Just a lovely place. Idyllic scenery, good food (and good food selections), nice pool, luxurious rooms and bathroom. Located very close to Modena & Maranello if you're a Ferrari fan, and the area is full of wineries.

Absolutely fabulous, what a fabulous venue, the view from the internal jacuzzi was unbelievable, can only imagine how fabulous a summer visit would be! The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared with a smile. The rooms are so well appointed and super comfy beds! We will be back!

The bistro was really nice for dinner! Good english speaking staff (for the most part)

surroundings of the pool with wood and nails, with a little baby I was constantly scared she would get hurt.
