Stylish and comfortable stay in historic Scanno. We loved the old family furniture and setting. But it’s also super comfy, with a cosy heated bathroom and quilts on the bed; tea and coffee making facilities; fast WiFi; easy parking; next to all amenities. Host Matilde is super friendly and offers a delicious breakfast with multiple options including eggs, pancakes, local cheese and ham, homemade cake. It was easily the best breakfast of our trip! Highly recommend this memorable spot.

Excellent location, in the high part of the old city. Wonderfull view from the window. A private parking area behind the building. A big room and a beautiful dining room for breakfast. Good and fresh breakfast, very kind woman owner and a fair price.

We suggest adding a sign in the parking lot that directs to a passage into the zone of the rooms. You need to know that you have to call the owner once you get to the place.

My husband and I loved our stay at Il Palazzo. The location was great! We could walk to everywhere in this cute little town. Our breakfast everyday was homemade and so delicious! A bonus was that there was parking right on the property. Not easy to find in small towns.

The only thing that we didn't like was that we had to pay in cash. My credit card was on file with them and I had even written ahead to ask if they accept credit cards which they said that they did. When it was time to pay she said that the bank refused not just one, but all three of our cards! These same cards which we then used all over Italy

Location and,of course, Matilde. She is thee hostess with the mostest! Wonderfully helpful and goes out of her way to help you find your way!

I felt a bit uncomfortable having to call Matilde to ask questions , & etc. I was rather unsure how to check in because I did not realize contact with her is by phone.

Really substantial breakfast, beautiful surroundings in the old town, friendly staff, rooms were very comfortable and spacious.

Heads up that parking was a little tight in the lot with our larger vehicle but we managed! 20 or so steps to the rooms too. (not a complaint just a heads up)

Insufficient information about location. The street address was inaccessible by car, which caused confusion while searching for the location in heavy traffic. Had we known which street to enter from by car, it would have saved us time and irritation.

A beautiful historic home newly renovated and very comfortable. Very kind and accommodating service. Perfect location, quiet and scenic. Great breakfast!

Take into account the need to climb three stores with your luggage.

Beautifully restored palace hotel situated perfectly in the old town. On sit car parking space was a bonus.

Our mistake was not contacting our host before we arrived into the village so as to get clear direction to the car parking location.

What a wonderful BnB in central Scanno with private parking. The room was beautifully decorated with wonderful views and although we only stayed 2 nights it was cleaned on the second day. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend Il Palazzo.

Matilde is a very good B&B owner, she wants to make it comfortable for you. Il Palazzo has a very cosy breakfast room with a decorated ceiling. As breakfast she serves pancakes, warm little breads, prosciutto and cheese, croissants, grains, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Coffee is served strong with hot water to drink it as you like it and we got both mornings a different piece of tart. Our room was at the old center of Scanno, a very nice and cosy town with old houses. Scanno is vivid, and a wonderful place to stay for visiting the Sagittario Gorges. The sentiero geologico there is wonderful. We found ourselves a wonderful caffe/bar with nice blond and pale ale beers. We have slept both nights. We loved our stay and recommend Il Palazzo to travellers.

The bathroom had little hooks for your clothes.
