A must stay hotel in Scilla. A very High quality hotel: super comfortable room in a modern design, delicious breakfast with marvellous view and very kind staff. Dont miss it and book the sea—view room it is definitely worth paying more

Superb location with restaurants, bars and boat tours just metres away. The rooms were quiet, modern and had great air conditioning. Beautifully cleaned daily we had spectacular views of the sea, castle and town, The breakfast was delicious, generous with a wide array of food and beverages. We ate on two occasions at the hotel’s restaurant and found it to be one of the best in the area. All of the hotel staff and manager that we dealt with were friendly and always went out of their way to help us with any queries we had including arranging transfers. All of our group of 9 wouldn’t hesitate to return here again.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. Every aspect surpassed our expectations - the location, room, breakfast, restaurant, and staff were all outstanding. The view from our room was magical and unsurpassed, and the bed and room were very comfortable. The breakfast room also offered another great view, and the staff who run it were excellent. They noticed our fondness for the lemon torta, and the next morning, an extra piece appeared on our plate! There was a good variety of sweet, savory, yogurt, and fruit options. And finally, the restaurant was a five-star experience for me - the entree, main course, and dessert, along with the recommended wine and the setting, all hit the mark.

There was nothing we did not like.

the hotel was absolutely lovely! The most amazing view to the ocean from the view. The hotel was super comfortable and the rooms very clean and modern. I really love it and slept amazing! The restaurant food was so good we ate at it 2 evenings! absolutely delicious!

The cleaner who speaks English was a bit difficult (rolling eyes at any request) and made us feel everything was a hustle.... she does need to improve her attitude as the hotel is amazing but every interaction with her made me feel she was making me a favor and not like I was paying for a service.

The location is perfect. I booked a sea view room and it was extraordinary to have such a beautiful view of the sea, morning, noon and night. The hospitality was exceptional, the staff were all very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I stayed three nights and enjoyed a superb dinner every night on the beautiful terrace, the best in Chianalea.

Breakfast was great - plenty of choice & fresh. Could request eggs done your way & great coffee. Location was on the waterfront - the beach clubs were 5-10 minutes walk away. The town was accessed by steps or fairly steep walkway.

Access to taxis/tuk tuk if you needed to go to town were not frequent or easy to get. Reception did help though. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance so not such a problem for us.

Breakfast served in a room overlooking the water. Excellent choiçe of meats, breads, pastries and asked if we wanted eggs and cheese. Very nice and attentive staff.

Our only little disappointment was with the downstairs restaurant. We felt the quality could have been better, although the service was great. The oysters we ordered arrived warm with an ice cube on top. The swordfish involtini was bland and didn’t seem to match the description of what was on the menu.

The location of the hotel is just fantastic. Rooms facing the sea are probably the most beautiful ones I have ever stayed in. The staff is nice and helpful. Everything is kept in order - very professional. The restaurant is fantastic - I would even say that the best in Scilla.

If there is anything to complain about is the noise. The hotel is an old building and the walls are pretty thin. Thus, I could hear almost everything that is going on next to my room and even worse - above me. It is not a problem when your 'neighbors' behave well, however, it starts to be a problem with noisy people.

The hotel is located in Chianalea which is the old fishermen village of Scilla, where all restaurants and bars are located. It has a superb location, the view from our room was stunning and the one from the restaurant is even better. We had dinner at the restaurant which is absolutely recommended not only for the location (a terrace on the sea) but also for the quality of the food.

The breakfast was good but the real attraction were the rooms over the water. Stunning daytime and night. The walks up and down the cobble laneways were full of interest - not over run by tourists but also had a lot of locals living there making it an authentic experience. I only wished we had more time to spend there.

Would not have changed a thing.
