The staff were all exceptionally friendly, I asked prior to the visit for a nice room as it was for a special birthday and they gave us a lovely suit, with a sea view. The location was excellent as was the service at the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with very many choices for hot and cold produce. Hotel surroundings were very historic which we appreciated gives you a feeling of splendor. Transport arranged by the hotel were excellent and on time.

It was a pity that they were not doing evening meals, however there are excellent restaurants just along from the hotel.

didn’t like the breakfast format. It was too restrictive from a small kiosk in the garden, waiting for service etc. we much prefer the buffet style breakfast arrangement, where you can choose what you want and help yourself to as much as you require.

The hotel entrance, facade and room decor were stunning. The staff were very helpful when we arrived early to ensure my husband got into the room early to make a business meeting. The gardens were lovely.

The breakfast was disappointing - poor orange juice, horrible coffee and only scrambled eggs on buffet. The pastries were good and the bread fresh though the ham and cheese options were basic. Not worth the money for breakfast although the room and hotel made up for it. The weather was awful so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or private beach

Very interesting and comfortable hotel in a good location. The rooms and facilities were very good; the interiors and gardens were stylish (antique) and well kept. Breakfast was good and nicely presented (inside and out in the garden), Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The beaches (private and public) and town centre were close and attractive.

The television did not have any English Channel (but we did in upgraded room). Rooms would benefit with a kettle.

Our room on the sixth floor had great views, overlooking the sea and harbour . Breakfast was served in a beautiful garden at the back of the hotel under the shade of trees. The variety of food was also excellent.This was one of the most stunning environments for breakfast I have ever stayed in. Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

The restaurant was closed and had been for the last 2/3 years. There are plenty nearby, some expensive but not good value. The best one we found was a fish restaurant nearby called Brigantoni. Also, the Bar could have had some snacks- olives etc.

What a spectacular gem in the heart of Sestre Levante! From the moment you pull up to the hotel you feel very special and also feel like you are traveling back in time. Loved the location, the pool and access to the beach.

The only change i would suggest is having a table or shelf in the bathroom for your toiletry bags. Other than that..nothing it was really perfect. So clean with lovely, very hardworking staff.

This hotel is really like a museum or palazzo. We booked the room with a nice discount, but we were nevertheless positively surprised with the hotel itself, the location, the pool etc. Breakfast (on the terras) was also excellent. Sestri Levante has a lot of eating options and a nice atmosphere.

Our room was also very nice, except not much of a view, which probably explains the discount.

Lovely old world hotel with style and history. Excellent facilities, lovely pool. Appreciated the tableware, crockery and all the little bits that mark a sophisticated hotel. Reception staff were charming and very helpful. My only little gripe, the elderly waiter on breakfast duty, who only looked after some guests and ignored others. Having said that, I’ll definitely return

The location is excellent, in front of the beach and in the center of the pedestrian area of lovely Sestri Levante. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Despite its central location the hotel is very calm, it has a lovely parc and swimming pool area. Fresh, good quality of products and variety at the buffet breakfast. The premises are lovely.

The daily parking rate is a bit high.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff at reception and at the restaurant. The room was very comfortable as were the hotel surrounds (pool, restaurant, gardens, etc). The hotel exceeded our expectations and interesting to learn about the history of the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Centrally located for the beach and shops.
