Very clean, comfortable bed, outstanding breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff, excellent massage, a large terrace to enjoy the beautiful view. There’s a spa area and swimming pool too.

It’s unfortunate that there is no longer a restaurant in the hotel, because there are not many restaurants close by and some were closed. In winter, this is an issue. It’s far on foot from the station and the pillows are hard (common in Italian hotels, it seems).

This place is amazing! Lovely relaxed place to stay. Lady at reception helped with all our transport needs using the lovely local taxi driver. Ideal location to venture out into the town for some lovely food or local products. Close to Assisi and wine tasting areas. The room was great, had everything you needed in it. Pool was just amazing with panoramic views. We were down at the pool side just after breakfast, no booking needed or anything.

Can’t fault it

The hotel exceeded my expectations: the reception rooms are filled with interesting pictures and antiquities; large bedroom that lead out onto a terrace which overlooked the surrounding farmlands and hills: stunning infinity pool that provided much relief at end of each hot day: the staff went over and beyond their duties: organising taxis to and from the station and booking dinner at various restaurants.

Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The pool is small but perfect for relaxing after a long day. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable.

The only downside was breakfast. Products were old, cheap and stale. Was a real let-down as everything else was great.

The hotel is a beautiful building with fabulous views from the windows. The breakfast has everything one could wish for! Car parking was close by.

The restaurant was closed and has poarently been closed for some time.

Air conditioning was perfect for sleeping on hot nights. Pool was perfect after a day of sightseeing.

No elevator. But after 2 days of stairs, my legs are in shape!

I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have and elevator and had to carry all my stuff down 2 flights of stairs !

Close to the Spello castle, good location.
