Hands down, the best stay we have experienced in all of Italia! If you've read other reviews, you know of Antonio who's love and pride for southern Italy shines brightly. He attended to every detail to ensure our stay was everything it could be, from tips and information on touring the area, phoning ahead for restaurant accommodations, and even set up a meeting for me in a nearby town at the municipal office to research my genealogy. He is genuinely caring and interested in his guests having their expectations exceeded. From the moment we arrived to bells ringing to welcome us to Taurasi, we were treated like royalty! The room, bed, and linens were very comfortable. Each morning we were treated to a wonderful Italian breakfast in the astonishingly lovely wine cellar by candlelight! Antonio and his staff served beautiful pastries, yogurts, juices, and coffee of our choice. The town of Taurasi is such a special place with it's beautiful streets, a castle, and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in the countryside. We will definitely return to Taurasi and to Antiche Dimore and highly recommend this fabulous B&B!

We had a destination wedding at a local vineyard near Taurasi. We contacted Antonio early on to book multiple rooms for us and guests. He was fantastic! He doesn't t speak English, so he had his very sweet friend Maria contact us to help us plan. I didn't know exactly how many rooms we would need and they were very flexible with our situation. They gave us a beautiful room. They made sure I had a place to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. They were very accommodating. I was very busy and stressed, but he loved telling our guests about the beautiful town of Taurasi. He set up tours for our guests. He even gave us sparkling wine to celebrate our wedding day. I do wish I had my parents stay there because they would have appreciated Antonio and all the wonderful information he gave. He is a wonderful and generous host. I would definitely recommend this bnb.

We took a 3 day trip to discover the Taurasi wine region and booked Antiche Dimore Taurasi. What an exceptional experience! Antonio, the host and owner, welcomed us as family. Unknown to us, he founded the Taurasi DOCG and was also mayor for a period of time. His knowledge of the area, history and wine is unparalleled and his passion for the land and wine is incredible. Breakfasts were excellent and served in the beautiful cantina.He made a dinner reservation for us at an exceptional restaurant just 20 minutes away. Ask him about the pre-phylloxera vines on his old property. In short, an incredible experience and well worth a visit, in addition to the stellar wines of the area. A 10+++

location & accomodation. Antonio the owner went above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable . he was so kind , helpful & offered to arrange anything & even made sure we had everything we preffered for breakfast . he made us feel like family & Assunta the house keeper also did today she was so sweet warm & caring & looked after us .. such a lovely little magical village (is my mothers birthplace) … would reccomend highly to stay .. felt like a home

The Antiche Dimore has been completely renovated. It's been done to a high standard and in keeping with the surrounding area. The bedroom and shower room are spacious and clean. There is a choice of croissants and other delicacies including fruit for breakfast and a choice of hot drinks. The owner is there in the mornings and on the other end of a phone at other times. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. There are one or two members of staff to help out we only met one and she was very friendly and her English is impeccable.

There is nothing that we did not like. We had the freedom to come and go as we wished.

This is probably one of the warmest welcomes and stays we have had during our trips to Italy. The host Antonio was really kind and helpful every step of the way. You can really sense that he really cares about his guests and wants them to feel special. He helped us with local restaurant recommendations and even booked us a table at a pizzeria nearby. Not to mention the fact that he knows a lot about local wine production and wineries, which is what Taurasi is famous for. Place itself is located in the very center of Taurasi, in the old town's square. There is free parking right in front of the building so it is very convinient if you have more luggare or you are travelling with small children. And of course the breakfast in the wine cellar was one of the highlights - it is just spectacular.

My boyfriend and I loved everything about the property. We stayed here because it was very close to walk to the wine festival and family close by. The rooms were beautiful with a balcony looking over the center and the set up Antonio had for breakfast was amazing. Antonio was the most amazing host. He helped us carry up our luggage and even drove us around to where we needed to go. He made it very easy to request things with just simply messaging him and whatever requested would be out in MINUTES. He would check everyday to see if we needed anything and even booked reservations for us to eat. Antonio will treat you like family without a doubt.

Antonio, Marie, and all the other staff were very helpful, patient with language challenges, and welcoming. Antonio is the consummate host - always there to help with plans, suggest restaurants, and talk about the area. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was diverse and more than filling. I would recommend this B&B wholeheartedly and return again.

Our hosts were so welcoming and truly made us feel at home. Antonio made sure we had everything we needed and set up two incredible tours for us in town. Breakfast was perfect each morning, fresh croissants variety of Italian meats and local cheeses fresh fruits and even eggs cooked to order. We felt as if we had become family.

Antonio is a large part of our stay being more than perfect. He called us prior to our arrival to ensure we had all details of our stay, he called us on the day of arrival to assist with restaurant reservations and he was just outstanding in every way. It was my birthday and he arranged for roses and a bottle of champagne ready in the room when we arrived. The room was extremely comfortable and with a very large terrace and bathroom. The shower was equipped with showergel and soap. The room temperature was set perfectly. If we thought things could not get better, we were taken by surprise breakfast in a wine cellar. Antonio then arranged for us to visit a local wine maker and we went on an amazing day picking grapes followed by wine making and a small tour of the wine area. We cannot thank Antonio enough for all that he did to make our 3 night stay so special. Taurasi has left a special place in our heart and we cannot wait to return. THANK YOU
