We had a fantastic stay at Palazzo Filisio. The location next to the cathedral is exceptional. The hotel and restaurant staff were incredibly professional, friendly and helpful! A special thank you to the ladies at the reception. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and a varied, high-quality breakfast during our stay. We loved the city of Trani and its cathedral, we will come back!

At peak times it might be difficult to find a parking space, but we were lucky in the end!

Breakfast was exceptional. It was a beautiful buffet laid out in the dining room, and there was an opportunity to eat on the outside terrace. The hotel offered us an advance choice of rooms with either water or cathedral views. We chose a water view, and enjoyed a room with high ceilings and windows that opened onto the harbour with expansive views. While the hotel was located in a traffic restricted area, it was possible to drive up and leave our luggage, and the parking was very close to the hotel.

Regrettably, the restaurant was not open for dinner the night we arrived, and so we did not have an opportunity to try it. Also, they were having trouble with their electrical system, and so the air conditioning did not work. We did have to close the windows because it was quite noisy outside, and so it ended up being hotter and stuffier inside. We were surprised that the hotel did not alert us to this problem in advance.

Communicating with hotel staff about parking was great. We couldn’t get a better place to stay, located across from the cathedral , steps from the Castle and next to the waterfront. We had a beautiful room overlooking the ocean, my husband took beautiful sunrise pictures as well sunset. Breakfast is delicious, we order eggs daily. Extremely clean with fantastic staff at front desk.

Breakfast had good choices particularly the fresh fruit salad option.

A little difficult to navigate our way by car to the hotel when entering the city and through the narrow alleyways as there was a walking marathon being held on Sunday and many roads were closed unbeknown to us. However the local police were very helpful in directing us. I rang the hotel and they were also very helpful in guiding us and showing us where to park our car nearby. Our room had lovely views across the water. We enjoyed dinner at the We were disappointed to see the nearby beautiful Cathedral closed to the public due to renovations however completely understandable...

Excellent location near the piazza duomo, close to the waterfront and the old town center of Trani. Free parking available nearby. Our room was spacious, very stylish and perfectly clean, providing views to both the duomo and the waterfront. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of ham, cheese, fruit, cereal, bread, eggs, juice and more. Personell was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a wonderful stay in Trani and a strong recommendation for Palazzo Filisio.

A beautiful small hotel in a renovated old palace. Every detail has been thought out. The room was beautiful with plenty of space. There were welcoming details in the small sitting room such as free coffee and lovely homemade biscuits. Breakfast couldn't be better. The situation next to the cathedral on the waterfront is superb. If you go to Trani [which you should] this is the place to stay. All in all this is one of the best hotels I ave stayed in. I recommend it highly

This must be the nicest place to stay in Trani… right by the cathedral with the harbour on one side and the castle on the other. Large comfortable well equipped room. Very good restaurant attached with excellent seafood. Breakfast was especially good with a wide choice. You can drive up to the hotel to leave your luggage and then park your car an easy five minutes walk away by the castle. There were fireworks in the evening, and the hotel/restaurant had reserved a table outside for us in a prime position to watch. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The perfect location and outlook from our beautifully appointed room The breakfast was generous and full of choice. Dinner at the restaurant was nothing short of outstanding. The staff were extremely professional. Parking was arranged quite easily. It was a pleasure to stay here

Everything one can expect from a 4-star boutique hotel plus its unique location and the more than reasonable price make Palazzo Filisio THE place to stay when in Trani. Add to the above a fine dinner at its excellent restaurant and a wealthy breakfast with local products and you'll get an unforgettable stay that you'll remember forever.
