great experience, extremely beautiful view. clean rooms, nice personal. the breakfast and dinner were vary tasty and the service was excellent. the spa and pool very instagramable 😉quite and very romantic place. highly recommended.

I gave 9 and not 10, only because the time of using the pool which is from 10 am till only 19:00, before and after that time it’s reserved for private use (for additional fee). The hotel is a little bit abandoned and there is literally nothing to do in the evenings, so it would be nice to use the spa and pool till 21….

Absolutely beautiful Chalet located in a stunning location in the alps. I chose this to be the location where I proposed to my now fiancé and I am delighted to say that Chalet Al Foss made the occasion extremely special. An engagement is one of those life events in which you run the scenario through your head countless times before the big moment, and I can safely say that Chalet Al Foss made this moment more special than I could have ever imagined in my own thoughts. The rooms are stunning offering a balcony and a bath with a view looking over the alps and the experiences you can arrange are incredible including massages and breakfast with Alpacas; however, their best asset (which is saying something) is their staff, they are all so helpful and genuinely motivated to ensure that your trip goes according to plan. For example, our flight was hit by lightning and diverted to another airport and it seemed as if we would not make it in time, through their WhatsApp chat and a brief phone call they confirmed that should we not make it they would move our stay and all accommodatable experiences to the following two days. Luckily, in the end we did make it but for a hotel to go to such lengths is almost unheard of. To summarise, I imagine it will be a long time before we have an experience quite like it and we are both grateful to all the staff for the work they put into making it such a special day/ night. Chalet Al Foss are quite literally selling dreams, Thank you.

There was one miscommunication; however, giving the stay as a whole I did not contend it when settling the bill. Which should be taken as another positive.

This was a dream come true vacation. The staff were so helpful and friendly! The service was 10/10. The view was breathtaking and the facilities were honestly everything we imaged it would be. Overall it was a fantastic vacay and I highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

Food portion size is really small in both restaurants. They need to add a few more options as well as more basic dishes especially for lunch time. Not everyone is into fine dining so have the option for 2 servings between the 2 restaurants. Maybe add a few more Italian dishes (pasta and pizza options)

I loved the experiences that the hotel offers we opted for the breakfast with the alpacas which was such a beautiful way to start the day! Its a fantastic couple hotel, heated pools, hot tub, spacious room with a balcony, bathroom with hose & bidget, friendly staff that helped with luggage, & delicious breakfast.

Nothing really, would have loved if there where shelves in the shower for products & hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels otherwise I would definitely come back here again!

We had the most amazing stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were welcomed to the hotel with a complimentary glasses of champagne. Room were cosy and clean, it was a little chilly at night. The infinity pool overlooking the mountains was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend everyone to book the in pool breakfast! The breakfast is ample and very tasty and you have the exclusive use of the pool for 1 hour.

The wasn’t anything we didn’t like, perhaps more main options on the dinner menus. Also be prepared for a 2 hour journey from Milan Bergamo to the resort.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing - endless supply of food available. Also tried the forest breakfast with the alpacas (Bernie and Happy), which was actually incredible. Definitely a massive highlight of the trip for my husband and I. Facilities were incredible too. Absolutely cannot fault this place. Staff were so incredibly kind. On the Friday afternoon during the DJ set, a few of the staff even got dressed up to dance with us. Definitely added to the fun, laid back vibe of the place. What a retreat, honestly.

A little hard to get to with public transport. The Chalet have a minivan that they used to take us to the train station on the way back (for 20 euros).

Amazing property with loads of amenities! Staff were so thoughtful and accommodating, they really took attention to all the details, we loved our stay here, it was so memorable, we will be coming back here again! Best stay in Italy by far! Room was a good size, facilities were excellent, breakfast was a la carte all you can eat, they really spoilt us!

Giada was so lovely and welcoming. Just what you want after a long journey. Sat us down, took care of the luggage whilst she gave us complimentary champagne and showed us around. Perfect.

More GF options on the breakfast menu would be my only comment. There was enough though and totally appreciate that.

The breakfast, food and experiences were spectacular! Note that breakfast is included depending on your package and other extras like dinners, drinks, lunch, spa treatments etc are not included. Make sure you book experiences far in advance as these, especially the morning experiences are usually fully booked out.

More clearer description of items, for eg: when we arrived we were told that we could use the spa between 10am and 7pm and thereafter needed to book after 7pm. But it was not clear regarding if the treatments were part of the use of the spa between 10am and 7pm. Upon further enquiry (the concierge sounded a bit annoyed), it was explained that the use of the spa excluded treatments and rather referred to only the use of the facilities required no booking between 10am and 7pm.
