This charming hotel completely exceeded our expectations. What truly sets it apart is the soul of the place. You can see the love and effort the owners, two wonderful sisters, pour into every detail. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, recommending hidden gems of Tuscany and making sure we had everything we needed. One of the most heartwarming things was meeting other guests who have been returning to this hotel for 15, even 30 years! Their love for the place speaks volumes about the experience. We felt so welcome and at home, and we can definitely see ourselves becoming regulars too. We will absolutely be back!

We travelled to Villa Campestri for our minimoon. The villa was gorgeous and quirky! We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade which was glorious! The room was extremely spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfect for a romantic stay! The restaurant on site was phenomenal, we were not expecting to eat there each night but after one night we were hooked! They switched up the menu each night which was a great bonus and the food was amazing!! The views, oh my goodness, the views. There are no words to explain how incredible they were! We also did a truffle hunt which was such a great way to see the surrounding area, Mattia arrived with his two little dogs and we walked around the area and undergrowth looking for truffles. Mattia is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and let us keep the truffles which was an extra treat!!

The only negative some people might find is the steps and hill to the pool is very steep, however it is how the area is but more of an heads up to anyone looking to stay who might struggle

A stunning period property to properly get away from the touristy side of Tuscany. Really beautiful building and surrounding countryside, and the pool is great. The restaurant is good value for where it is, and the food was great and varied. The staff were absolutely lovely and very attentive. We would stay here again.

The location is not ideal for seeing the classic Tuscany sights. It's the northernmost end of the region, so any trip to vineyards, or classic places of interest is quite a drive. Bear that in mind and maybe stay here at the tail-end of your trip to get away from all the tourists you have to deal with in Sienna, Florence, etc.

The villa is located in the beautiful country side. It's perfect for getting recharged. We enjoyed walks, food and various activities that are offered for the guests. We did cooking class, olive oil tasing and massage. All of these experiences were great! The viall is run by two wonderful women and I can't praise them enough for all they do. Everything is very well organized, the staff is very friendly and accomodating, we enjoyed a very good breakfast every day and dinner at the villa's restaurant had a good selection of food which we enjoed a lot.

We only wish the weather could be better :-) But even though we had rain pretty much every day during our stay, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful location. Stunning views. Restaurant is fantastic - top quality food and wine, delicious and good price. Relaxed but high-end. Boutique feel. Family friendly and staff were all very nice particularly the head waiter was fab. Loved the animals and walks around the estate.

Although it’s close proximity to Florence and the Il Gigante adventure park, there isn’t much in the neighbouring areas for young children and besides those activities, the staff didn’t really have anything to suggest. Minor point though as it didn’t really affect us. Also would be great if they could get a toddler bike seat!

Stunning property in the Tuscan hills. The interiors are beautiful and the views spectacular. Perfect spot if you like hiking or just relaxing in the peaceful countryside. They offer massages and wine tours to book in advance. Good selection of breakfast and indoor/outdoor areas to enjoy it.

The only negative thing I could find was the mattress which was extremely hard but that's just a question of preferences. Not good for my back.

beautiful location, secluded not too far from Florence. amazing country side estate with lots of green. and a pool! the land ladies, mrs. gemma and her sister are absolutely wonderful. the breakfast is super cute, beautifully and interestingly served buffet. and on the first night we caught a food truck - such a fun experience! the room is quite comfortable, huge bed, with a mini bar and a nice bathroom. the shower cabin is quite unique! I've been to many hotels, for my previous congress work, but this one is really something special. I will definitely not forget it any time soon and sure hope to revisit even sooner.

the only "bad" thing was a portable AC that didn't have much effect, only making too much noise. so the second night was pretty hot.

The rooms are in a building that dates back to the 13th century. They kept it true to its history so it's so beautiful and unique, also comfortable. The nature is lovely. Our daughter enjoyed feeding the chicken and lamb. We wish we could stay longer. Also the olive oil experience was so cool and we learned a lot. Their olive oil does taste amazing. The owner gave us the tour personally, she was super nice and answered all our questions. Thank you for everything, we hope to come back!

The food at dinner wasn't the best we had but it was okay.

Great rooms in a villa buildin 1300. All rooms are different with regards to interior. We loved the olive oil products like shampoo and showergels and ofcourse their home made olive oil is the best ever! Monday night is pizza night and Heny makes the best pizza's!

We were very lucky with the weather and our dog could come with us for breakfast and dinner on the terrace. But if the weather is not good, dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant as it's quite small inside.

We had an amazing time at Villa Campestri. The large gardens were perfect for peaceful walks, and the swimming pool was a great place to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food was a highlight, with delicious dishes showcasing the best of Tuscany. We also loved the olive oil tasting at the resort's Oleoteca. Overall, Villa Campestri was a perfect getaway and we can't wait to return.

Nothing, everything was perfect!
