AMAZING!!! You sit on the terrasse of your room that hangs over the ocean and you feel like you are floating over the sea. It was so unique. The nearby harbour is an endless spectacle, but no noise comes across at all. It is like a silent movie. At night the sound of the waves is like a cradle song. Parking is available and the staff is very helpful in moving cars around. The staff in gerenral was TOP in every way. Food was excellent, always fresh and abundant. The little town of Vietri sul Mare is a great place to stay if one wants to explore the Amalfi Coast. VIVA ITALIA!!!

The ocean view from the rooms and restaurant were spectacular. The staff was very nice. The rooms and hotel are kept very clean. We had a faulty AC unit in our room. The room was hot, but the staff was kind enough to move us to a better room (with a bathtub) at no additional cost. This made what would have been a bad experience into a great experience and was very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, this hotel does not have a swimming pool. Our teenage daughters love spending hours in the swimming pool and they did not have that option. There is a local beach within 10 minute walking distance, which helps.

The location of this hotel is spectacular. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. It was so lovely to sit in bed and listen to the waves roll in. It's just a short walk downhill to the cute town. They have parking too which is so helpful. The staff was incredibly nice. We ate breakfast every morning in the restaurant and it was very complete with eggs, pastries and such. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was really good. I had a local fish in acquapazza and it was delicious! Highly recommend this hotel and location!! Vietri sul Mare is lovely!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The view was superb, and forewent our usual bedtime routine, and had the balcony door open so we could fall asleep to the waves right below our room. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The menu items we tried for lunch and dinner were also very good.

The menu itself was quite limited for us, but that's due to our preferences; anyone with a broader palate will probably be more than satisfied with the options available. The room could have done with having 2 pillows per guest, rather than one extra.

We used the hotel lucertola as a stopover on our way south and it was worth every penny just for the view. As it was out of season, the restaurant was not open, but there are many places to eat in the town, we even found a sushi restaurant!! (which was very good), but be warned and this may be obvious because the town is built on a cliff there are many steps, although most of the slopes of the roads are quite gentle. The hotel staff we found very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony with a fantastic view of the gulf of Salerno. Breakfast was very good in the panoramic restaurant. Vietri sul Mare is away from the area around the town of Amalfi near to Salerno - which is worth a visit - and convenient for the autoroute if travelling by car.

The location was excellent, the view to the sea from all parts of the hotel is very nice. The hotels own beach was good, lifeguard was there from the morning till 5pm and he served drink and snacks. On the breakfast buffet you get sweet italian pastry, some hot food and coldcuts. Pretty good for an italian hotel compared to others. Parking around the hotel and hotel parking is convenient

Loud music at night until like 2am.

The location of the hotel is great, overlooking the sea, quiet and yet only a short walk to the town. The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable, air-conditioned, and with a balcony overlooking the sea.

There wasn't an open bar, separate to the restaurant. There is a function room with bar, but this was not open when we stayed.

perfect location; 180 degree seaview room walk distance to the town center, just need to walk some stairs. room is very clean. stuff are very friendly free parking price is reasonable

little bit noisy in the morning from corridor (there are a big tourist group)and upstairs (room is under the restaurants for breakfast) room is very clean but indeed need some renovation. Shower water pressure is not enough

The hotel is in a superb location, just 10-15 mins walk from town and with great sea views. Dining on the balcony overlooking the sea was great. The restaurant is very good and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was well furnished with a large sea facing balcony. The Naples/Salerno train route and Vietri ferry station are both 20 mins walk away.

The patio surrounding the hotel was being relaid when we stayed which meant that the communual bar areas were closed. It looked like the work was virtually complete when we left so I imagine this was just a temporary situation.

The view is breathtaking honestly. The breakfast was a wonderful selection of warm food and pastries. Make sure to learn the bus schedule to get around if you don’t want to walk the huge hills back to the main area where all the shops and food are. Also take a Taxi to and from the train station. It is cobble stone all the way down.

The worst thing I can say is the mosquitoes are active
