We have stayed in Köln a few times now and have fallen in love with the city itself however we never found a hotel that ticked all the boxes until we found this one!! We had room 407 which is on the top floor easily located by lift or stairs as a family for four we managed both. It is one of the biggest rooms we have ever stayed in with alot of room and privacy for everyone. Our children are 10 and 15 and everyone had their own chill out area/bed zone. The aircon was excellent and kept us cool. The beds where comfortable, the pillows are soft but that didn't bother us as we like soft pillows. The housekeeping staff kept our room fresh everyday and where very friendly when passed in the hallway. The reception team also where very welcoming and friendly. We kept a room on a while longer the day of check out and they worked with the housekeeping staff to ensure we had enough supplies for us all to shower (we kept on one room but we were a group of 6) Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice and the boiled eggs are some of the nicest we have ever tasted. Location is absolutely brilliant right in the middle of everything but far enough away from the noise of the city. We will definitely be booking here again when we go back.

Great hotel, tucked away in the heart of the old town. Modern, clean and well maintained. Superb buffet breakfast. Great value especially considering the location, the high standard of the rooms, facilities, and of the overall hotel itself.

Depending on room location and day of the week you may get some noise from nearby bars, but this is unavoidable if you want to be right in the old centre. Rooms have well noise insulated windows, but keeping these shut then limits ventilation. Wouldn't stop me staying there again as the location really is worth the small noise drawback, just listing for awareness.

The location was great, very centralized to Old Town and things we wanted to see. the room was so cute! This was the best bathroom out of the 9 total hotels we’ve had on our European trip so far. I make a point of saying this because the shower, sink and toilet all worked and nothing leaked, which can’t be said for any of the others. The staff was great and very helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage all day while we explored the city before we caught a train out. The one thing I would say is that the sheets were pretty rough. But that’s a small inconvenience compared to all the good things.

Excellent location of the hotel, just behind the Heumarkt square of Köln. The entrance is on a closed square behind the buildings. The room was small but with everything needed inside and very clean. The beds were comfortable with huge pillows. The staff of the hotel on the reception were very helpful.

One of the pubs which have the back door in front of the hotel entrance, left the door open till 1:00. The music made the sleep impossible. We didn't informed the reception stuff to do something cause we were really tired. So I can't blame the hotel for this. One of the employees told us that if we let them know they could do something. Now we know.

Breakfast had a large range of options and was lovely. The room was a nice size and clean. The staff were really helpful and kind. The sauna was quiet and high quality - we were the only people there on the three occasions we went and it is not small. Had multiple showers, gowns and slippers down there too to use. You do need to let the front desk know when you want to use it though and can take about 40 mins to heat.

Quite expensive but was in a good location and we booked last minute, so is to be expected.

Clean, neat and tidy rooms. The hotel is in an excellent location, just 10 minutes walk from the central train station. Restaurants and bars along the Rhine River are two minutes in one direction and restaurants and bars in Alter Markt & Heumarkt are two minutes in the other direction. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide choice of foods, including meats, cheese, smoked salmon, pastries and fruit

Only one single room per floor, so if travelling with a companion in a different room, you'll be on a different floor. But this is not a problem

The room was spacious, extra clean and two bottles of water were waiting for us on our arrival in the fridge and sweets . Water is 2 times more expensive in Cologne so it was much appreciated! The decor and furnishing was quite up to date and the bed and sofa were comfy. Small hotel without a lot of amenities but stuff was accommodating and friendly.

The room was facing another building and the alley to find it, as well as the front side of the building is a bit dodgy and dirty. During the night/early morning you could hear drunk people shouting. However, it is in close walking distance to the river and main square. If you are getting there by train from the airport, expect to walk through cobbled streets with luggage for a 10-15 minutes distance. We did not book breakfast so I cannot comment on that. You needed to squeeze to fit into their lift especially with luggage as it was tiny.

Great location, larger room than I expected, comfortable and modern, big shower stall, well-lit room, delicious breakfast with a good variety of fresh food and beverages to choose from, friendly staff that speaks English really well. Parking price was extremely reasonable in comparison to other hotels in the area!

Nothing on the breakfast buffet was labeled as to what it was. Some items were obvious, but others were not, at least not to me. There were, for example, two bowls containing something white that did not seem to be the same thing but I didn't know what the difference was between them. It took me several minutes to figure out where to get hot water for tea. There were a series of thermal flasks on the bar but no indication of what was in them.

There is too many good points to remember them all, but I've highlighted a few. We will definitely be back. ▪︎ room size is very good ▪︎ very clean ▪︎ great breakfast ▪︎ friendly staff ▪︎ excellent location

Only one thing and it was in room 113 was that the Aircon wasn't working to a great standard, we did mention it to the staff and they came to the room and put it on for us however we had two rooms booked for our stay and the other rooms Aircon was much better.

Great location, comfortable enough beds, excellent staff, good air conditioning and windows that open, restaurant Moods Cafe across the street was excellent, 15-20 minute walk to either central train station or to Bus 397 AirPort Express stop.

Room was small, but fine. Shower floods a bit so you need to put a towel in front of glass door. You can hear some feet upstairs or talking sometimes, but not really a problem during our 4 night stay.
