The hotel was great, and a lovely sunset from the cliffs around. There were restaurants in walking distance and the on site restaurant was very tasty too. Rooms were spacious and all had a really calming space to sit outside and relax, as well as a tv with many channels.

It would have been great if there had been tea and coffee facilities in the room, and some of the snorkels didn't fit all that well but it was great to have free snorkels!

Exceptional sea side location. Rooftop room looking over the ocean through the lush gardens. The Blue Mahoe Restaurant beautifully located on the cliffs. Excellent food with many choices. Wonderful expert massage and facial treatments. Pool and bar areas offer incredible views of the sunsets.

Afternoon until late night/early morning, very loud music from across the street, audible on the balcony and in the room even with all windows closed.

The property is well designed, location is good, but bit further away from main activities, so you have to choose it either for overnight, or for relaxation at the pool, spa or sunbathing. Rooms are spacious with adjoining patios (at least garden side). There is restaurant on site, which served gret food.

Although restaurant is good, the service is slow. You have to alllocate 1 hour for breakfast, as it is a la carte. There is annoing requirement to bring beach towels and bathrobe to reception during check-out. I assume guest are steeling, but somehow other hotels are able to manage this in more comfortable way for customers.

This place is the absolute best! We couldn’t have had a better vacation and it was because of the amazing staff here. They were so kind and welcoming, and treated us like they’ve known us forever. They were always quick help us and give us recommendations, we wouldn’t have had the experience that we did without them! The property is beautiful as well, we will definitely be back.

My friend and I stayed at Ocean Cliff for a week. It was an amazing experience overall. We booked airport transport with Cliff through the hotel and ended up using him as a driver the rest of the trip. He absolutely made our vacation - making sure we got where we needed to when we needed to, helped us figure out our plans, and made us feel safe as 2 females traveling alone. The hotel itself is gorgeous and in the perfect location between 7 mile beach and the cliffy side of things. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and attentive. Ricardo is the best bar tender on the island hands down. It was great coming back to Ocean Cliff after a busy day because it feels like your own little piece of paradise. It's quiet and relaxing for days that you don't feel like leaving the hotel. 10/10 experience we would come back in a heart beat.

The property is spotless!!! Even down to the walkways. It must be power washed everyday! The food at the restaurant was amazing and authentic. This is coming from a first gen Jamaican American who also visits grandma’s house post my travels to Negril! I KNOW good authentic food. Lol the staff were kind and accommodating. Couldn’t ask for more!

Prices are up there so be prepared! I was ok paying though. Everyone has to eat and take care of their families at the end of the day. Support the staff via tips if possible. Negril in general seems to be a more expensive area.

My husband and I went to Jamaica for the first time. I did an outrageous amount of research, deciding to pick the right section of the island, (no cruise ships, laidback vibe, no screaming kids) as I wanted to make sure this trip was one to remember. It had to be breathtakingly beautiful, reasonably priced and impeccably clean. All signs pointed to Ocean Cliff Resort in Negril. I’m happy to report that it was everything and more. The hotel sent our driver, Renaldo who was waiting for us at the airport, The ride was fun and comfortable, and he was like a friend from the start. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a welcome cocktail and massage from the lovely Winsome. Her expert touch was a nice contrast to the plane ride. I think God runs through her hands…she’s that great. Between Raquel at the front desk, providing us with a cell phone with all relevant phone numbers for the hotel and drivers, the hardworking groundskeepers, (David, Bentley, AlJarreau, et al) the ladies in housekeeping, and the waitstaff and bartenders, especially Shanna Kaye and Caleifa, we felt like we were in heaven. We were treated with respect and care at every turn. Especially wonderful was the manager, Heather. She’s an iron hand in a velvet glove, who is loved by her staff. That means a lot to me as a customer/former caterer/bartender. The food at Blue Mahoe is scrumptious. Every dish was tied for first. The food was a revelation! Everything made from scratch, including their bread. We tried most of the menu. Not one dud, just plenty to rave about. It’s open to the public, so if you’re in Negril, make a reservation. The view is gorgeous, with jaw dropping sunsets. The pool is beautiful and filled with the salt water from the sea below and magnificently clean. The hotel provides you with complimentary snorkeling gear, has a private small beach, spa services and a small amount of bungalows, so it is quiet. You’ll be delighted with the beauty of it all.

I absolutely loved this place!!! It was the first place I stayed on my Jamaica solo trip and honestly it was by far the best. The staff, food, amenities, view and location all exceeded my expectations, and that says a lot because I had high hopes for this place! There was a small hiccup at the beginning of my stay and Heather (the manager) took care of that promptly, she really cares about giving the best possible service to all of her guests and it shows ! It is the ideal place for relaxation, and good vibes. Ricardo and Lateisha are my people miss them already !! <3 The best and freshest food I had in all of Jamaica, and the infinity ocean fed pool was just amazing. The rooftop cottage was also beautiful but sometimes got some noise from the street at night, so if you want absolute peace and quiet I would suggest the ocean front villas, thanks for a wonderful stay, I will be back forsure.. one love !
