Great charming place with exceptional hosts. I am travelling a lot all over the world but this level of service is very rare. Our host took as from the bus stop and gave us a lift back. They took care (proactively) about reservation of our ticket to Tokio (Japanese www is not easy to navigate). Breakfast and dinner was delicious in Japanese style - true home cuisine. We spent here 2 days - they proposed us to make decision about next meals after tasting first to be sure that is is for us. Very careful and friendly people with instant contact if you need. Rooms are spacious enough (bigger than standard in Japan), well equipped. Possibility to charge many tools in the same time. Bathroom small but convenient. Great onsens inside guesthouse! Several types- some of them outside. Full privacy - great palce to rest. Very calm surrounding.

Very nice couple managing the hotel, with a lot to do in and around the hotel, and marvelous lake. Large room, with bathroom, and other shared Japanese baths (could not really use them, as arrived at 7 PM, and on busy week end, so we all occupied). The owner could pick us up at the local bus station, drive us back, and even drove us to nearby restaurant! So helpful. Have a few bicycles for cycling around the lake.
We could not get dinner and breakfast as we did not book in advance (not clearly mentioned in Booking, so be careful to contact directly the property in advance if you wish to dine and/or have breakfast there).

What a fantastic find. The facilities are great, cosy room, three onsen and a fabulous inexpensive restaurant. But it was the welcome from Lily and her husband that we will always remember. Though Lily speaks no English she smiles and laughs constantly and uses Google to translate. Her husband is a quiet, dignified man who effectively served as our chauffeur.... collecting us in arrival, taking us to the bus terminal when we left and providing a shuttle for us when we decided to eat out. The hotel is a little tucked away up from the main road and the surrounding counteyside is stunning. A really great place to stay.
Everything was excellent

Amazing staff, very nice and forthcoming (it will help if you speak a little Japanese though). Free bike rental, very pretty private onsens and just overall very cozy. You will need a car or a bike to get around more easily, but that's just a local thing and not fault of the accommodation. Loved it here a lot!
It's very uphill so it will be quite exhausting to get to the accommodation without a car and with a lot of luggage. The staff however is kind enough to pick you up and drop you off the bus station if you tell them beforehand.

Very friendly hostess and host. Don’t speak English but shown everything with assistance of phone conversion,
Everything, especially the various very hot tubs to bathe in. (42degrees) so can’t stay in there too long. Had Japan rail pass but it necessitated a private bus connection to closest stop (1180yen) each way. Host offered to pick me up and bring back to bus next am.

Marriage which are the owners are such an amazing people that it's hard to describe. You can get hot baths as much as you want. Breakfast is amazing and really tasty prepared in traditional Japanese style. Nice lady that's checking you in will answer all your questions show you around and recommend what to do in the area they will also give you a ride to the city. You can rent free bike if you want.

The hot springs are superb, with great privacy. Room is tidy and clean. The owners are extremely helpful. We couldn't start our program in the morning due to battery problem with our car. I cannot speak Japanese however the owner communicated with the car rental company to urge them coming to fix our car quickly.
The location is not easy to find at night. Totally rely on Google Map.

An amazing family runs the establishment who are incredibly kind and hospitable. Amazing bathing facilities (6 different types of baths) with water from Mt Fuji. Even with my extremely limited Japanese, they were able to communicate and create such a wonderful experience for me. I will be coming back anytime I am in Japan near the Mt Fuji area. They even loan bikes that allow access around the area.

absolutely beautiful location! nestled in the foothills of Mt Fuji and near the largest of the 5 lakes. Has multiple private onsens for guest use (indoor and outdoor). It was nice to soak our sore muscles after our hike up Mt Fuji. Couple who runs the guesthouse are very welcoming and amazing hosts. We don’t speak much Japanese and they didn’t speak much English but we got by with hand gestures, google translate and lots of laughs. Due to a typhoon we had to delay our arrival by a day and they were very accommodating in helping us change our reservation.
guesthouse is definitely in the country, so may be hard to access without your own car. But once you get there they have free bikes available for guest use!

The owners of the place are super nice people and service. When we told them that we would arrive late, they proposed to pick us up from the bus stop. They also informed us that due to good weather the Fuji will be painted in pink during the sunrise. Their open onsen (bath) is well maintain. Their Japanese breakfast is ok.
