Check in was really smooth with enthusiastic and respectful receptionist. I taught myself below n5 level basic japanese, but she made me feel like i spoke a higher level. The room was good for what i paid for.

They accepted cash but didnt have change for the larger bill. So i had to give up more small change. So its best to just use a credit card.

Staff was amazing! Exceedingly kind, thoughtful, and courteous. Price is excellent and the location is perfect. Will be staying again in the future!

A little too small room it was if I was carrying suitcase.

We stayed at this hotel provably 5-6 times in the past (very much convenient to take flight) .

Very conveniently located by the subway station, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. The size of the room is about the same as any other business hotel in Tokyo and was clean.

As others have mentioned, there is a distinct smell of smoke in the halls, and although for myself it wasn't actually an issue as I smoke, it can be a problem for other people.

There is a cockroach in the room. The refrigerator is noisy. No disposable comb (compare with other hotel same as your level and cost). All else is okay.

The carpet looked clean and the bed was clean and comfortable enough. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. There was no hot water pot in the room but there was a coffee and tea service in the lobby. The room we booked was smoking, even though we don't smoke, since it was all that was available, but this was endurable, since the window was thankfully able to open wide to allow fresh air into the room and remove the strong cigarette odor. The large window also provided a pleasant view of the quiet street and cityscape below, as well as plenty of natural light.

The walls of the room were badly scuffed, marked and stained, and worst of all, there was a strange and extremely unsightly shelf space beneath the counter top (I've included a photo) that was scuffed, covered in duct tape, and had a tangle of wires protruding out of a hole in the wall below it. This bizarre furnishing made the otherwise pleasant and comfortable room feel much more shabby and unsettling.

The location is very close to the station, convenience store and mall with onsen. Also conveniently located on the corner so you cannot miss it.

I couldn’t breathe coming down the hallway of my floor. The room smells a little bit because of the hallway. The room itself was okay, just old and dings on the wall and shower room.

Good location, and free coffee & hot water.

Property and amenities are all very old. There’s a funky sour-ish smell in the room. We tried to clean out the air a little with the AC, but even the AC blew out a funky smell. We had to sleep with the windows slightly opened. Not sure if it’s for security purpose but why do we have to hand in room key every time we go out?
