The gentleman at the service counter was very friendly and helpful. I had lost a personal belonging and needed to use a japanese landline phone to contact other hotels who would receive my personal belongings at a later date. The gentleman was kind enough to lend me the phone for as long as I needed and was able to assist in translating my questions to other japanese speaking people. The guest house is small and quiet, the upstairs kitchen has many ameneties, books, and board games. There is also a kettle, microwave, and freshly made breadrolls to purchase for only 100JPY, as well as free tea and water to fill up mugs provided by them.
The guest room we stayed in was a bit too cramped. A booking for 3 adults landed us in a room with a bunkbed and a futon was provided for the third person to sleep on the floor. Not extremely uncomfortable, though tall people may struggle to sleep straight on the futon as there is not much floor space.

The place is beautiful and the location is excellent. The guest house is next to the Isesshi train station and and bus stop. You can walk to Ise Jingu Geku or very easily take a bus to Naiku. If you wanna go to the Shima Spanish Village is only a bit over an hour away and very convinient. Near the hotel there are multiple shops, coffee places and restaurants to get food and a family mart is only 5 mins away by walk. The staff is very nice and helpful and the place is kept very clean (for the most part). The have bread for 100 yen, which varies everyday on the type, and coffee and tea for free, so breakfast can be had at the hotel.
The only thing I found somewhat dirty was the showers, as they appeared to not be deeply cleaned. They offer free shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, but it is the foam type that in my experience does not really work very well, so I recommend to bring your own if possible. Keep in mind it gets quite hot inside the capsule rooms, even with the aircon on. Also they have towels and toothbrush sets but they are not free. Didn't really bother me to pay a bit for them, but just something to keep in mind in case you then prefer to bring your own towel.

A 5 minute walk from Iseshi Station. The staff, especially the staff member Mizuki, are incredibly kind and speak great English. The guest house has a small kitchen and free coffee, tea etc. There is also fresh bread for ¥100 that they get from a local bakery every night. If I ever come back to Ise I will definitely choose Guest House Kazami again!
It is a rather small space and it was hard to sleep due to other guests snoring, so maybe bring ear plugs. Also the conditioner bottle was empty.

Short walking distance from the Ise Outer Shrine that we came to visit, with frequent bus service from there to the Inner Shrine. Property is clean with friendly helpful staff. Wooden installations.
Expensive for what you get. All amenities (towels, drinks, bread for breakfast, etc.) must be paid for. Except for five rooms on the ground floor, the upper two floors are dormitories. No in-room furniture for computer workspace (have to use the common lounge). No staff at reception between check out and check in. Luggage needs to be temporarily left in the non-secured reception area. Nearby Comfort Hotel was offering better value and comfort at the time.

The hostel is very close to the train station and is in an area with plenty of restaurant options. The staff, Mizuki, is very kind and friendly, helped me with all my questions and recommended several cool restaurants, which I loved. The hostel has a unique architecture, it reminded me of a tree house, the beds are comfortable and it is very clean.
Unfortunately, some guest at the hostel stole my sandwich and sushi roll that were in the fridge with my name e room number. I know it wasn't the hostel's fault, but it was quite inconvenient.

Perfectly comfortable with good facilities. Friendly staff who are happy to recommend nearby areas. Shared shower rooms were clean. We stayed in the private rooms, love the design of the whole building. Very close to the train station. Note that the common space (lounge/living room) has a lights out timing. It didn't bother us as we had private rooms, but those staying in the dorm may want to know in advance.
The number communal shower rooms may feel limited when fully booked in peak seasons.

The young lady charging the front desk is so amazing, she kindly let me check in even it is before check in time. I was taking a might time bus and arrived in the early and that early check do give me a big hand as i was so exhausted.
Nothing special, everything is great except my neighbour bed snoring all night

The architecture and interior of the place was so lovely! Location was really convenient and the hosts were very pleasant. Shared spaces were really nice to hang out in.
Soundproofing between rooms isn't so great and we had the misfortune of having neighbors who wouldn't stop talking loudly even past midnight.

It feels like staying in a tree house, the smell of pine and calm atmosphere is second to none. Staffs and owner are very friendly. Good location, cafeteria and restaurants are all nearby, also very close to the outer palace.
Nothing unsatisfied, but if the reception has more soft drinks choices, or a vending machine, and more lighting options in the room would make it even better.

Super cute wooden decor all around. Looks like a cabin. Location is great, just a short walk from the Iseshi train station and also steps from Ise Jingu Geku
The kitchen/dining area only has one small table. You can go downstairs where there are more tables but it's not as convenient. There's a light in the room that stays on all night which can be bothersome.
