The location is convenient, only that it was loud from the clubs on the weekend. However, the curtains is great, it's 100% lights blocked. There are lots of nice restaurants around. It's easier to go to Sakae, Hisaya-Odori area and around. Overall, would recommended!

I was on 3rd floor. If you don't mind loud noise from the streets and clubs on Friday to Sunday night, it's the great place. This branch of APA located in the middle of the night-life area so you could hear the music beats a lot at night. But It's totally fine on weekdays.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The amenities and toiletries were extremely good and the big bath was just what we needed after a long day of driving. The hours for using the bath made it very convenient too. The local area is very lively during the night, which means there can be some noise but not too bad. The location also means that there are a lot of great food options and convenience stores close by. The rooms are very small, but this is expected in Japan from this type of hotel. The rooms and lobby were very clean and the beds were comfy. If I could criticize anything other than room size, the pillow was a little too firm for me, but all in all, a great stay and would happily stay again.

The hotel is in a convenient location, walking distance from Sakae station. The room isn't big, but has everything a solo traveller needs. Breakfast consisted of a nice buffet in a relatively large space. The bathing are on the top floor was a nice bonus.

The area surrounding the hotel has a lot of (host) clubs. Not really my cup of tea, but the people trying to lure you in are easy to avoid. A bit unexpected, however.

The area is walking distance from the main street.Though a few miles away from the nearest train station which is Sakae (Sa-ka-e)The surrounding has some massage area which unfortunately was not able to try. I like their public bath but was not able to dip my whole body because it is too hot for me (btw, there is a separate public bath(like an artificial onsen) for male and female in the 15 floor since you have to dip your body naked which for us Filipinos are not used to.Hence,I waited that I was alone and tried to dip even just half of my body. There is also a coin laundry to wash and dry your clothes and for someone like me who does not want to bring dirty clothes home, this is a plus.

My room reminded me of a cabin in a ship.It is quite small and true to others who said that the bed and the table are almost touching meant it literally. If you are claustrophobic (which am not) you do not want the toilet enclosed with a cute bathtub. You need to be ready to walk to go elsewhere.Otherwise, the staff can help you call a taxi.

Hotel was clean and close to the main city centre in Sakae. Staff were helpful and tried their best to assist me with my enquires. The hotel cleaner was very polite and made sure my room was always clean and had fresh towels.

There was a lot of touts loitering outside and around the hotel trying to get people to go into their bars. If you keep to yourself they won’t bother you. They can get very noisy outside the hotel, especially on the weekend.

The APA is a good brand, the hotels have quality and they give you a nice staying.

What surprises me is the fact that the staff didn’t speak english at all, any of them. Now, I can understand if we are in the middle of the countryside, but since we are talking about Nagoya and we are also talking about a big international hotel, I excepted from them to speak a least a bit of english. In case the costumers have a problem, the staff need to be able to help them out. Repeating the same sentence in Japanese, over and over, faster and faster, doesn’t help at all. I had a problem with my reservation, I had to do it twice (book a different room) but I still paid for both. That’s not a nice feeling.

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful! The location is quite convenient as well, and the rooms are very well equipped!

The rooms are a touch small (which is normal for Japan, I understand), but it made getting anything out of our suitcases a little difficult, and it made packing for our departure a little difficult as well.

Great service and amenities The bath at the rooftop was very nice Room had a good size for a single traveler

The location was fine with me, but surprisingly it was quite loud at night from down the streets no matter which day. I stayed at the 8th floor, the noise wasn't too bad there anymore though.

Typical APA. The rooms are always decent and comfortable. Parking on site was helpful.

The price of the parking was a bit too high, not cheaper than a regular coin parking so considering it was tied to a one night stay, the price should be much lower, especially as it was the hotel's private parking and not a contracted parking. As always there is always a bit of disappointment with APA hotels...

Clean; good views of the city from the onsen at the top floor; nice view from my room as well. Location in a quite central point, Sakae is quite a lively neighbourhood, but the sound of the street are well screened.

Extremely small room . Hard to move inside.
