Breakfast was free for all who stayed but the breakfast served, above my expectation, was varied, good and plentiful. I was happily surprised! From Nakatsugawa station, it was a 15 min taxi ride to hotel costing 1500 Yen. The hotel is next to a major highway and the pit stops were just infront of the hotel with restaurant, KFC and family mart. The view from room was good, especially at night. I could see the cars and trucks coming in from the valleys in between faraway mountains. We used the bus from the hotel to the station and then another bus to Magome Jingu. We had booked a twin room for one night and 2 single rooms for the next night. The staff was kind and helped to fit us up for 2 nights in a twin room although the hotel was full. I will be delighted to stay in this hotel again.

I had already gotten more for the price I paid. There is nothing negative.

One of the most value-for-money places I stayed in during my travels in Japan. Exceptional views from just outside the building of Gifu mountains, and the rooms themselves are very well-equiped and comfy, considering the price! Also, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could check-in without a physical passport (as I didn't have it at the time), and helped me check-in just with a picture I had of it.

Wifi slightly slow but not terrible

Front desk is superb. They have nicely folded origami to give out to little children - and my daughter was delighted! The rooms were nice and clean. We have two non-connected rooms, but as it was the peak travel season, we were glad we found a nice hotel like this one. Its location was also excellent. If you stay here, you must eat at the Prince Matsuba, Nakatsugawa - just opposite the hotel! During my entire stay in Chubu, this restaurant provides the best food at the most reasonable price and great servings.

Small onsen on the first floor which is empty in the later hours, really good and various breakfast options, USB Ports at the bed. FamilyMart, KFC, McDonalds and a big grocery store are in walkable distance. You get a free drink, which is a very friendly gesture.

The bath wasn't completely clean and for someone without it is a car a bit isolated.

Well looked after. A business style hotel, but, as a foreign tourist visiting over new year, the staff made sure I had what I needed to do some hiking and where to eat. The onsen, a daily ritual for many domestic visitors, was a treat. Helpful and kind.

It has 1 lift for 8 floors, so a little patience when checking out was needed.

The place is fairly convenient. The room is clean and comfortable with all the amenities required for a short stay. Very polite and helpful staff, not to mention that the food is really nice! It comes with a complimentary breakfast but I had my dinner at the hotel as well and it was great.

Staff manner, public bath, Japanese breakfast, view from window, close to bus stop to station, and large supermarket Okuwa, close to restaurants.

Separate taps for basin and bath/shower would allow 2 people to use bathroom at same time

It was a nice place. I almost got the place by myself. Breakfast was so great and pleasant.

Unfortunately, the customer using the room beside was so noisy, banging the wall and making a ruckus. I came by foot. The place was a bit far from the center. You need to know the bus schedules near the place.

Location was a little further than expected from train station(2kms - some up hill). With lots of luggage suggest take taxi. Good eating facilities (restruant) very close to hotel.

The staff were friendly but spoke limited English. Bus stop very close that goes direct too and from the Nakatsugawa station.

It was quite some distance from the station. I required help from the information centre to figure out which bus I needed to catch.
