Bit of a smaller room, but well worth it given the price and included amenities.
You can't do your laundry early in the morning, at least on the higher floors. Understandable, but still a little annoying.

The location is very good, very close to the Omiya train station. The breakfast was good, with a good choice of food options. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
The hallway and the room itself had a musty smell. At first I thought people had smoked in the room, although it was a non-smoking room. Actually, I think the smell came from the carpets, which they should have replaced many years ago. The room was very small, the furniture was old and well used, but I did sleep well on the mattress. The hotel should have been renovated years ago. There were lots of Japanese businessmen and -women staying there. A bit surprising, considering the condition of the hotel.
