HOTEL LiVEMAX BUDGET Fuchu

This hotel is located close to the Keio Fuchu station in the center of Fuchu City. You are 30 minutes away from Shibuya, as well as Takao-san if you need to escape the buzz of the city (on the weekends though, you will find Takao-san overrun by all the other nature seekers). I expected a crammed business hotel room but got a regular apartment with washing machine and a tiny kitchen. The room, two beds and a large, sturdy desk, was spacious enough. All staff members were kind and helpful. No issues with factors like cleanliness and WiFi. The bath is tiny, but efficient.

Windows insulation could be better. This was in January, and cold drafts were mildly annoying at times. For the same reason, I was woken up by street noises in the morning.

The size of the room and the friendliness of the staff was amazing! I'm not fluent in Japanese but with the help of the strong wifi and use of Google translate on some occasions and the patience of the staff, I felt really welcome and understood. Location was great too and only 10 min walk from a big shopping centre. Would recommend!

Only complaint that I would have is that there were no pots, pans or plates available to rent out to use the kitchen in the room. Meaning if you were staying for a while you would have to buy a cheap pan and plates from the local supermarket which is a little inconvenient...but other than that, not much to complain about!

I loved how close it was to fuchu station and how friendly and nice the staff was, and how the internet speed was super good and nice to be able to use.

The staff is very cheerful and helpful.

Obviously the building is old. And that makes it looks dirty when it's actually not. I would say the place is pretty clean but all the facilities (towel, bathrobe, elevator etc.) just old. The price during weekend is like 4 times higher than weekday so if you dont really have to stay around Fuchu area, you dont have to go

Was very surprised having looked at how small the bed is, and how could they let 2 people stay on that 1 small bed. Seems the management has lack of common sense

Booked and paid the hotel at a discounted price in advance and when I checked in, the staff said they couldn't give me the discounted price and have to pay the original price. Very disappointing.
