My stay at Hotel Palace Japan has been really wonderful. Besides the affordable prices and quiet location of the hotel, it is mainly the hospitable staff that made my stay memorable. The staff are exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming, this made me want to return here next time in Tokyo as well. The facilities of the hotel are always very clean and the hotel is close to Minami-Senju station and various restaurants and supermarkets. You can even walk to Tokyo skytree or Asakusa in half an hour from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

You can't beat this price/value for a private single room at lower cost than most shared dorm bed or capsule hostels. This is my go to spot in Tokyo. The room is very tiny but fine for one person work bed, small fridge, a table and small stool. Also a closet to put bag and clothes. WiFi is excellent to work inside my room. The shared bathrooms are spotless. The common shared space on the ground floor is also good with a shared kitchen and tables. They also have laundry facilities. Also a real grocery store right across the street (not just 711). Only 10 minutes walk to the subway station so you're then about 45-50 minutes subway trip to Shibuya or other sights.

Would be amazing if they had a a few comfortable couches in the shared common room to relax.

Great 3-star hotel! The closest train station is Minami-Senju station. Has a very nice and kind staff. Check-in and check-out process is quick and straightforward. Room is clean and secured. In your room there's TV and a mini fridge. Shared toilet and bathroom are squeaky clean. Bath towels are provided. Free water, tea, and coffee are available in the lounge area. There's a shared kitchen as well if you want to cook or reheat your food. Coin-operated washing machine is also available to do your laundry. Upper floors accessible by elevator. Wi-Fi connection is excellent! There is a nearby 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Food Market (just across the street). Safe neighborhood. Koban (Police) station are also a few steps away from the hotel. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and I will definitely book again when I come back.

The building it's not the newest one, however I'm rating overall experience for the price paid. It was clean and location was very good - withing walking distance to Asakusa and just next Metro/JR lines. Room was small, but it included everything needed, there was even a wardrobe to store luggage and clothes. It seemed to be more sound proof than other hotels of this kind. Downstairs there's a kitchen and a small common area. Additionally, a lady at the reception desk was an absolute gem :). Very lovely person and spoke English very well, she could give all sort of advice.

the receptionist was very cordial and helpful. Ms Keiko speaks english very well and very generous in providing us guidance and information. The hotel unexpectedly had and provided me a very interesting adaptor that i was able to recharge my laptop computer. The common toilet and shower rooms in the 2nd floor were comfortable and clean. The pantry and kitchen very accessible. Strong and free wifi connection. Awesome.

The dorm type room was quite narrow.

The hotel is close to JR/ metro station and arrive on foot around 5 minutes. The hostess is very kind and introduces the facilities in the hotel with great patience. The room and shared area are basically clean and cozy. The surrounding has convenient shops and restaurant that you can buy stuff and taste local food easily.

Similar to general Japan hotel, the room size is small and it is a bit inconvenient to open your trolley bag, but it is acceptable given the bargaining room rate.

The accommodation was immaculately clean. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The location was super convenient. Excellent value for money.

The bed was a little hard for my liking, but that’s just a preference.

Keiko (lady that checks you in / gets you sorted) - was so cute! Provides you heaps of useful info on the property / surrounding area - very helpful. Rooms are small but absolutely fine (I stayed for 2 nights) Shared toilets / showers and kitchen area are always very clean. 6 mins walk to the station - well connected to trains / buses. Loved my stay - thanks Keiko! Oh and thanks for loaning me the adaptor!

The place is clean and there is several toilets and shower rooms on each floor. In the kitchen there is beer vending machine.

The hotel is along main road and the noise from the traffic is coming in the room due to bad sound proofing what seems to be very usual in japan. The pillow in the room was very hard.

The staff at this hotel were very kind . The hotel is extremely clean and the room are okay. Good location and the area is quiet,peaceful and I feel save walking alone.
