The hotel knew I had a 4 year old with me and decided to put me in a very far room from the main building on a top floor, which wasn't east for the child. They made me book an extra night even though this was my third stay with them because I had a late flight and a child 4yo. I needed the room to make sure she could sleep before the flight They refused to extend my check out, and I booked the night online because it was a lot cheaper from the rate they offered me. I will definitely try another hotel when I'm back in Nairobi.

Such an amazing hotel. Staff were more than accommodating with anything we required, the food was spectacular and our room was huge. Not sure why it only has 3 stars as this is definitely a 5 star hotel. I would recommend anyone staying in Nairobi to try this place at least once, they will not regret it. We had a night flight so they let us have a late check out and we’re allowed to use the spa facilities to shower and change before our flight.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The gardens and grounds are beautiful. The balcony to the room is large. The food in my view is 7/10. The staff are friendly. The pool area is beautiful. What's not to like about Hemingways Nairobi. It is a very elegant hotel and is one of my favourite places to stay.

I would say the service was a little inconsistent. I stayed 3 times in the space of a month and experienced the inconsistencies. I will also add this was unusual as I find Hemingways Nairobi usually has incredible service.

I really enjoyed sitting by the pool after my long flight to Nairobi. My room was also lovely and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there were a number of good options to choose from. The hotel overall was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay.

The price was a bit too high I thought.

Everything was perfect! The view and gardens are wonderful and the rooms are delightful. Cant wait to return!

it is charming and beautiful. There is a large garden and a lovely swimming pool. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious.

Everything was perfect, from the staff to the room, I had a very warm toned interiors Finch Statton suite. The view on the garden and swimming pool from the balcony is amazing. The atmosphere, the architecture, the choice of the different furniture styles are well blended. Beautiful

Was expecting a more diverse breakfast.

This is the nicest hotel in Nairobi. The grounds and nature around it are also wonderful.

They don’t sell sunscreen on site, so make sure you pack a bunch.

I recommend 100% this very nice hotel ! Even more beautiful in real that in pictures. The location, close to the giraffe center and national park made our weekend peaceful and easy. The garden of the hotel is full of different flowers and plants, amazing to discover. The staff is professional and very nice, always giving the best services. For exemple we had difficulties to find a Covid test labo, they found a doctor that came into the hotel to do the test (service free of charge - we only paid the doctor). The restaurant menu is very good and the quality of food is perfect ! Special like on the fresh juices. Thanks to the all team for this moment ! Special thanks to Rosy from the restaurant team.
