- The decor was beautiful. So modern and stylish! - Great size room. - Minibar goodies are all included (who doesn't like a freebie?) - Free lolly table in the lobby.

- Wasn't able to check in early (understandably busy however in the past I've never had any issues with checking in a little early at other hotels. Instead despite being told guaranteed 3pm check in, the room wasn't ready until about 3:10pm. I'd arrived at 2pm hoping for an early check in. - Valet parking quite expensive. Limited alternative parking options, nearest offsite parking is 3 min walk (Secure parking) but closes at midnight. - Called reception for ice and was told to order using the QR code however we couldn't find it on the menu. We ended up walking to the nearest service station to buy a bag of ice instead.

Hotel is really stylish, decor miles away from the gold-lamp-and-dark-wood thing from usual chain hotels. Free minibar and great breakfast (notice it's vegetarian) add up, as does the gym and pool. There is also a nice bar, Alibi.

Nothing much happens at this location. Although there are quite a few nice restaurants around everything closes early, at 21:00 at the most. And when you're severely jet lagged you might not function at local times. Major flaw is there is no 24-hour food service at the hotel. If you crash in the afternoon and wake up hungry in the middle of the night there is nowhere to run, just a convenience store at a Shell station nearby. But with the going rates there should be at least a vending machine or some food option for the night.

The room itself was stunning, spacious and comfortable. We stayed on our wedding night. We loved the decor. We were able to get a late check-out which was wonderful, as we were so tired the next day. I used the bath, which was a great size and depth.

The information on Booking is wrong about the breakfast times. It was closed on Sunday by 10:30am, so we missed it. And even though we had prepaid for it, the check-in staff didn't mention breakfast times to us. There were surprisingly almost no options for breakfast/coffee in this area. When we asked reception for a suggestion they could only vaguely recall a cafe a few blocks away.

The hotel was exactly what I needed for my week of business in Sydney. The room was spacious, well-lit and I could also take zoom meetings here before and after my day of in person meets. The location is water-front, quieter thanthe CBD bustle and the selection at breakfast was more than enough to start my day.

The breakfast staff could have been more attentive in the fact that I sat myself when I entered the restaurant as was always asked what room I was in, when at the buffet---perhaps this could be avoided if there was a designated place to check in and someone overseeing this? Also, I had an additional keycard in my room which was left in the in-room card reader (not plugged in), which was constantly taken which was not the end of the world, but required me having to constantly ask for a new one. The staff's welcome and the facilities itself have set a new bar for hotels I frequent for work; will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in Sydney!

Stunning space, beautifully styled, fantastic atmosphere and phenomenal location. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very professional. I always make a point of knowing the employees names that I come in contact with so thank you Alex, Dylan, Rosie, Louis ( Our valet who looked after us, so incredibly well upon our checkout, and also packed our car for us) and especially Joanne. I will be returning the very next chance I get. Thank you for an amazing stay

I loved everything about this property, but for a point of difference. it wouldn’t be nice to have on site parking at a cheaper rate without the valet option for guests who don’t require it.

Loved the location. We walked to Potts point and Elizabeth Bay in the morning. We walked to Madame Butterfly Opera in Botanical garden during our stay. Building is in wonderful location on old historical wharf. Staff are so friendly; especially Joanne and check in ladies and gents. Rooms are so big with super comfy beds, snack Bag (complimentary) and a minibar included in your room price. Pool and gym areas are really well maintained ; we enjoyed the facilities. Our room was ready even though we were early and checkout time was 11am. Just outside you’ll find some of Sydney’s best restaurants ; Manta, Ottos, Kingsleys and China Doll.

Valet parking cost was a bit on the high side at $95.00.

Room was excellent, spacious with funky decor. Bed was super comfy. Mini bar was a nice surprise and well stocked. Brilliant location as well.

Breakfast experience was far from satisfactory. Both mornings we were sat at tables with no cutlery (which we had to steal from other tables) and we had to ask several times where our coffees were. Staff seemed to be completely disengaged with providing any service and lacked initiative when it came to clearing plates and checking on any requirements. ie coffees.

Loved the location and the preserved industrial features of the building. Had a few nights catching up with a friend and the spaciousness of the x2 double bed room meant we could comfortably hang out in between scooting around town with an interesting view and fun interior design. The bath was huge in the well appointed bathroom, products were OK. Checked out pool, a good size but tricky to find, it opens to outdoor area which isn't obvious from pics. Complimentary sweet bar in lobby and interesting art, great lighting.

The bathroom was lacking an extractor fan and annoyingly, no interior light switch to use at night so as not to disturb my guest. The much touted 'free minibar' was not overly generous; 1 beer, 2 x mini wines & no spirits but was restocked each day and the low alcohol wine was nice. I requested a teapot in the room which did not materialise. The rather expensive buffet breakfast at Alibi was nice but hot food was cold every day and on my final morning a server kept repeating a question louder and louder to a gentleman who clearly did not understand English. Alibi bar closes too early for nightcap.

Location is perfect, mintues walk from the NSW art Gallery, Hyde Park, and the Botanic Gardens. Stunning walks towards the Harbour Birdge and Sydney Opera House. As a vegetarian, breakfast in their plant'd restaurant was perfect, and my partner, who is not a vegetarian, also loved the selection. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the bed was one of the best i've ever slept on! Staff were superb.

It’s uniqueness. The way the Architects have created a stunning hotel within such a historic building is truly remarkable. Certain staff were amazing such as the lovely FOH/Porter who showed us to our room and helped us to be able to enjoy the Pool and Sun lounger area before our room was ready. The Sweet trolley in the Foyer The most comfiest bed during our whole trip in Australia- loved the Headboard design too. The Chocolate Easter bunny - lovely touch.
