Staff very friendly. Free sweets in lobby. Breakfast was nice. Free parking. Location was excellent. Floor to ceiling window with chairs looking out was very nice.

2 single beds are not a king size bed. Bathroom had a slight musty smell.

Hotel was well located between new and old town. Free parking at the hotel. We had a King suite. It was big and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable and the room was silent. Breakfast was good.

The air conditioning system in the room looked old and did not work properly. It gave hardly any cooling. It was over 30 degrees hot outside during our visit and the suite was situated in a sunny spot on the top floor, so the room was quite warm. We asked for a new room, but the hotel was fully booked. The hotel manager promised us a discount in retrospect, wich I appriciate.

The hotel is centrally located and offers free parking space. As we were travelling by car, that was an important consideration. We had 2 rooms, and both rooms were spacious.

The breakfast was good, but not great. Also, the area where breakfast was served, was organized in such a way that it seemed more crowded than it had to be, and the guest were constantly bumping into one another.

Perfect hotel location, just opposite street to the city centre. Exceptionally clean room.

the shower curtain - made from cheap material was just flying around the bathroom, touching the body, didn't stop any water going to the floor. Hotel administrators could think to change them in something heavy material for the guests comfortable shower. Also, the reception staff could have uniforms.

Good options for breakfast. Good location - not on a Main Street, still, in the city-centre, near a beautiful gothic church.

A bit chilly in the bathrooms, especially in the morning. Odd layout of the room, with the toilet in a separate room than the actual bath. Odd electricity circuits between several connected light sources. Old rug. I witnessed an unpleased conversation between a tourist and the receptionist D. She had quite an attitude, not suitable for the job.

Our family visits this hotel often and we are very happy with a location and general conditions of the hotel. The hotel also owns a big parking space which is very convenient for those coming with cars. Santaka with its classic interieur and view to the Oldtown and the Temple of Candles, radiates the unique Kaunas spirit and charm which is very valued by us, born in Kaunas.

Big and clean room, great location, free parking behind the hotel, friendly people, great breakfast, bathtub with shower in different zone than bathroom, free tea and coffee, small fridge and deposit box in room, nice backyard and restaurant downstairs, possible to order room service from restaurant

If anything- tv channels are mostly in German

The hotel is located in historic building and has soooo much charm. Our room was located on 6th floor, which has a special way of getting there. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. There is a free parking on the back of the building. The location is fab, walking distance to town, castle and anything else you would want to see. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of food options. Juice, coffee. I love pancakes in the morning, but one of the morning, they were gone and no one stacked them up.

Room wasn't prepared for 2 people. Curtains doesn't cover fully the window. At the reception one of the girls didn't even bothered to say goodnight back.. I think there's different people who will great you with a smile and tell you good day and good night, but that one girl, was always too busy to see or to hear her hotel visitors. Hotel is nice and quiet, situated in the town center. I will stay there again if I will go back to Kaunas.

Room was spacious and nice and had a lot of facilities. However, it is rather old and needs a proper facelift. We left early and they suggested to hand us a packed breakfast, which was a real joke - a couple of small triangular tasteless sandwiches with mainly mayo, an orange an a bottle of water. BTW, they do not supply you with drinking water in the room - a regular treat by all hotel of the same lever. Location is perfect, but the staff at the receptions was quite rude. All in all it is a good option in the center of town, but needs better management.

the staff at the reception - who was rude, the packed breakfast, which was a joke and the fact that there was no drinking water (usually a couple of small bottle will suffice). Yes, the place does need an urgent facelift. Still stuck in the 90's.
