The location of the hotel is convenient and accessible to places like Legoland and Johor Premium outlet. There is a nice 24 hrs Mana Mana Cafe/restaurant just beside the hotel, Starbucks cafe overlooking the harbour view is just below our hotel room. Though overall actually still many shops are vacant n ulu at night. The look and feel (color theme) is very similar to Sg's Marina Bay Sands Hotel (minus the flooring as MBS flooring is carpeted) Love the bathtub n Cleanliness of the hotel room. The wide variety of food for breakfast and the floor size of the dining place. Customer service is nice n pleasant. No rude service encountered. Kids were surprised n haply by the robot serving Mango flavor ice cream popsicles at the reception area while waiting for our check in procedures + a lil fish tank wif goldfishes to greet the kids:) Very appreciative of our early advance requests such as bathtub n free early check in we made acceded to. This is really a THUMBS UP!

Very old run down carpark which is very dim. But we appreciate the basement carpark that is conveniently located within the hotel premises. Need to upgrade the TV to Smart TV wif Netflix & YouTube access. That would be perfect. Would appreciate if they have kids's size bathroom slippers n towels. They only provided 2 towels n after housekeeping, they did not replace fresh towels for us. We have to call in n request for towels n have to wait for it b4 we could actually have our shower after we are back in our room aft a tired day out.

Next to harbour walk which have some restaurants, massage center, Starbucks too. Good for evening walk or a morning jog. Breakfast buffet has variety of options which are excellent. But chef should really work on soft boil egg technique..lol..keep turning my eggs to hard boil eggs (mini problem) Really must check out Mana Cafe and the pink massage center which is 2min walk away from the hotel, along the harbour walk. I like the live band at Mana Cafe and also great variety of food choices offered at reasonable price. The massage center is really not too bad!

Nothing much to complain but will be appreciated if they can change the pillow.. too soft... TV reception is not too good~ The cleaners keep forgetting to give me new towels every day after housekeeping which is also a tiny problem. Swimming pools kinna far from my block but heavy rain on days of my visit so can't swim anyway..

Breakfast is almost back to pre-pandemic. Staff, as usual very courteous and responsive. That has not changed ever since, 10 years back when we first went to Hotel Jen before when it was still known as Traders Hotel. Also, I was able to still get the deal of checking in very early in exchange of getting a room upgrade.

Room is a bit dusty especially the floor when it was given to us. The bathroom grout is so mouldy (it needs renovation), shower head and accessories look like mouldy as well and the aircon vent becomes noisy when fan is in full blast. Also, tables in the room needs renovation to bring back former glory of the overall room aesthetic. Another thing is the Skybar, they should start using the big restaurant now and separate event bookings. During my daughter's birthday we were not able to reserve a table because Skybar was fully booked for an event we were told.

• There's stain/spot on the bed sheet. Would appreciate if they can bleach it and put on a spot-free white bed sheet • The swimming pool is at 3rd Block and connected to a restaurant which is inconvenient and far away from us (our room is on 1st block) • You might catch the sound of the live band from the bars below (but they stop at around 11pm which is not a huge bothering for us)

The location is next to Puteri Harbour. So you can just walk out from the hotel to the harbourside. There are restaurants along the harbour. There is also a foodcourt right next to the hotel. As for the rooms, it was decent and clean. Breakfast was excellent with wide variety of food and tasted very good.

We got a room that faces another part of the hotel. So our view was of other guests' room and had to draw the curtains most of the time. Service staff was polite and courteous but they could have responded faster to our requests for room service. We stayed there during the Chinese New Year holiday so they might be under-staffed during that period, hence, the slow response.

Really love the view!!! (need to pay extra for the view). Heard the place was not very convenience, but It's really not true. There are shops and restaurants nearby where you can just walk to go there, and they open 24hrs. Breakfast was fantastic, variety of foods offered, and you can grab a coffee to go too! Really a good and peaceful place to stay, and you can run from all the city noises.

There are things: 1. Very confusing to find the parking entrance. Took me some time to notice it, and small hotel sign 2. The pool was quite far. 3. Online experience. Got an offer via email to add breakfast for our stay. They charged me an adult price for my 2 and 4 years old kids. Clearly when I booked, I indicated Im coming with 2 children but the system captured all adults. I just knew during the checkout time. I had to argue and complain to the front desk, and they gave me the correct charge after that.

about the property, the washroom is not super clean, the black spots are all over the walls.. about the management, requesting the management to give free breakfast for at least those who pay more then RM250…our stay was at deluxe king lake view room but exclusive of breakfast is quit disappointing…thankful for the free parking…but totally not satisfied with the without breakfast stay, add on the breakfast price was too expensive! the swimming pool opening hours is from 11am to 7pm where 11am is checking out time for all…so what’s the purpose actually? not to allow one night stay guests to use the swimming pool?

The usual the staff were very friendly and courteous. We were accommodated for early check-in with a top up for a harbor view. Also in every requests of ours for room service we did not find any trouble even though we were requesting free water and change of bathroom mats quite often.

The room was quite dusty on some parts, seems like it was idle for quite a long time due to the pandemic issue and when it was given to us some areas were not cleaned. Another thing is the breakfast, very limited viands not like pre-pandemic. We were very surprised on the spread of menu as it was not same as before even close to what was before, quite disappointed on that part. Basically in our 6 days stay, it was Nasi Lemak all through out with difference only on the noodles (alternate days), baked beans, chicken ham/beef slice and others. Paying for 29 ringgit (our daughters meal) for just such spread is quite expensive.

Lovely room, we booked city view deluxe room with 2 single beds. Requested for a upgrade and it was worth the price for a deluxe room with king bed and harbour view for an additional 42rm. Harbour View was a better option, the rest of room have views inwards which doesn't have privacy. Hotel parking is below at carpark and free. There are few restaurants at thr vicinity and a small pasar malam. Which was bustling and nice place to hang out after dinner with family and children. There's starbucks, very nice Indian fusion restaurant right side to the hotel.

The day curtain in the room was stuck but overall we managed. Timing of gym and swimming pool was only from 11am to 7pm which is too short . Though there isn't restrictions on the number of pax in pool, couldn't enjoy much cos of limited time.

Hotel is just 30 mins drive from CIQ, it’s placed in a beautiful Harbour and we totally love the environment, the views, the activities, the rooms, the staff…. Absolute Great Stay! Special mention to Duty Manager Ili whose quick wittedness helped us to get a baby cot at a time when they have fully ran out of cots due to high volume. Her team assembled one set from some old stocks and spruce it up to a good usable condition. We were so thankful for that. Her team mates Gwen, Farizah and Veronica delighted us with their very sincere welcome as we arrived early in the morning and made us feel very at home. Our request for a set of connecting rooms are met and the rooms are very clean, cosy and really looks new and classy. We will definitely come back again! Oh Yes!! Breakfast was really good!! Prata booth was the delight!!

Staff may need to adjust fast enough to cope with the unexpected overwhelming post-pandemic crowd that drives up the occupancy rate to a 100%.
