Ayana Holiday Resort

The location is quite far from Kundasang town but it's okay still drive to there. A lot of parking space. The room is quite cozy and we still get fresh air from the forests The view from the room is spectacular during dawn.

The room is unable to access the Kinabalu view from this property, The stairs to the room are unbelievable and not suits for bringing older parents here.

Just a short drive away from Mount Kinabalu National park. Room is basic, clean, with a decent shower. There is a cafe/ restaurant situated roadside, within walking distance from the lobby.

There isn't much view from the room though. A lot of stairs to the room, which we are fine with it, however it might be a little inconvenient for older folks.

Quiet location. Clean, tidy and amazing views. Definitely would stay there again on future visits.

Thee management need to sort out the constant barking dogs around the complex. Depending on your room location, you need be prepared to walk 130+ steps down and back up for car/reception.

We stayed one night because we wanted to climb the Kinabalu Mount on the day after and the position was perfect. The resort is very nice in a beautiful position.

The staff didn’t respond when I tried to contact them on booking. One pillow was just huge and uncomfortable but these are just details. I would recommend the resort:)

The room just prefect for travellers like us. Just a nice place ti stay. Its just you need to have strong leg to hike up and down to the resort lobby. Prepare your stamina. Its very cold place. Prepare cold jackets. Near to kinabalu park ! Have small cafe near car park

The sink doesnt have hot water .

Spacious unit, books for reading, good wifi connection and a well-equipped kitchen.

The water heater worked intermittently, which was not pleasant as the weather up on the mountain was very chilly.

The shower had hot water, but it didn’t really work. It was very cold up there compared to the rest of Borneo, so we were freezing while showering

No Fan at room.. i know is cold at night but at day time is still hot okay... Lily Cottage & Kitchen customer Sing K from Morning till Night *sry they are not singing is yelling!! i was complain to the Ayana staffs but they ask me directly complain to Lily staffs i was like "wtf"?

Beautiful views of the mountains from the bedroom balcony (great for birdwatching!). The cafe next door was delicious and well priced. 20 minute walk to the Mt Kinabalu Park headquarters.

Rooms did get chilly, would benefit from a heater of blanket for the bed. We had issued with the drainage in our bathroom sink.

Lily's cottage was just right beside so we have easy access on food.

Our room is further away from the lobby, need to proceed by stairs steps ascending and descending steps. About 250 steps away. Big luggage will be a challenge and they do not offer to help to carry.
