Clean room, good breakfast and c 10 minutes walk to the main sites of Kuching. Also liked the encouragement from the hotel to be more eco friendly by having a plastic bottle recycling.

Great hotel. We arrived at 3 in the morning on a very late flight. Not a problem, fast, efficient check-in. Good-sized room, with everything we needed, including tea/coffee. The hotel is right by new Chinatown which is a really nice street with long arcades and loads of Chinese businesses and food//cafè stops. Love the atmosphere here. Definitely go to see the Orangutangs! Amazing sight in a really nice jungle park. There's a free bus (103) from and back to the city or hop into a Grab. Bla Bla Bla is an amazing Chinese restaurant - go there hungry as the food is delicious and the portions are generous.

Have a few glasses if you manage to ✅ The amenities in the bathroom are enough - vanity kits, hot/cold shower, face towels, hairdryer, everything are there if you need them

❌ Only one keycard - my friend has to wait in our dark room when I went down to fetch stuff from Grab as it was necessary to have your keycard for the elevator to work - please provide at least 2 keycards, the electricity in the room wouldn't function without it

Great breakfast and location. Super friendly staff and free roadside parking for guests. I paid for the Tourism Tax when booking under this platform but did not realize it until I checked out and the Limetree Hotel counter staff very kindly refunded the tax amount, as I am a Malaysian. I would not have been aware had she not offered the refund without my asking. It was only then that I realised I had been paying the tax meant for tourists in my other bookings at Malaysian hotels and will take steps to be more careful next time, to look out for myself, since this platform does not. Note: In my next booking and at check-out, the hotel referred me to this platform since it was this platform that collected it. After communicating with the platform, I find that it is too much of a hassle (need to provide bank statement) to try and recover my RM30 for the 3 night booking at another Kuching hotel. Malaysian 'tourists' beware.

The LimeTree Hotel takes the environment seriously including water filling stations. The entranceway and lounge area are really welcoming with lots of places to sit. The breakfast is very good. My favorite was the fresh squeezed Lime Juice. Although there isn't an option for eggs to order, there are lots of choicez. We stayex in a larger Executive Suite and the room was large and with a big window and sitting area. I would definetely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great breakfast. Nice and clean rooms. Great starting point to explore Kuching, the waterfront in walking distance. Nice small local restaurants just around the corner. Water refill stations in the hotel and recycling bins.

Even though I had a room not facing the main street, the traffic noise was very loud. The mattress really needs to be exchanged, it seems to be quite worn out.

Easy to access.parking is available next to the hotel. Near to police station(at the back of hotel). Near to the bar, restaurant. Evetho the hotel is at the junctions and traffic light, its not even noise(i means really slow of noisy till u not even notice). Clean toilet with toiletries. Clean bed and floor. Aircond is good even old ones.clean besaheet.refreshement is availble. U can loan a mini cooler(small size and fit to 4 cans), iron board. Have a craft mini shop at the receptionist. Friendly and easy-going person. Have a cafe also.

1. one room was already ready despite early check in, thanks to hotel staff efforts we got second in 30 min 2. nice setup of rooms, comfortable beds 3. info for tourists in the lift about how to get to BAKO park & info about big event Food Festival taking place in town 4. proximity to chinatown.....after exiting hotel turn left.....not right or go straight as we did ;) 5. local gadgets (e.g. proboscis monkeys toys) in pop up stand next to reception

The staff is very pleasant and efficient. The location is excellent, the breakfasts very good and varied, tested over 2 x 2 days. The only downside, the insulation in the rooms, not fantastic.

Breakfast was very basic. Mainly had toast. Not much choice. Location was OK. A bit of a walk to the main waterfront but no problem if you are happy to walk. the street at the rear of the property seemed to have more places to eat and drink than what you could see direct from the front of the hotel. Staff were really accommodating, helping us out with seeing a local doctor/clinic, sorting out our laundry even though it was a bank holiday weekend, lending us umbrellas for the rain. Very friendly.
