The staff were super nice and everything was organized and clean. The views are exceptional! The food is alright.

It’s very hard to communicate before reaching. They asked me if i want all the payments to be sent in 1 link while they withdrew the entire amount from my credit card without my consent. I wanted to also know more about the honeymoon offer so no matter how much Ive tried emailing the hotel no one responded and they took the amount anyway while we missed on the honeymoon offer. We also took the aqua villa and it’s extremely noisy since the buggies pass by the villa and the floor is wooden no matter what time it is and it will wake you up at night as its super loud and the villa will start slightly shaking For restaurants reservations we couldn’t find any booking for two days so w had to go around 9pm only to find the restaurant is actually half empty

We really enjoyed Kandima resort 👍🏻: spent 10 great family days there and our experience was just magnificent: relaxing atmosphere, friendly personnel-buddies, modern facilities (incl. cool kids club), fast & stable wi-fi connection, overall convenience and value for money - all was just state of the art 👍🏻 Great resort for families ☺️

Probably the only thing we really lacked - fresh juices offer at breakfast 🤗 I would also mention lots of flies bothering you a bit at canteens (and sometimes even ravens) - but it does not affect overall fantastic picture 👍🏻 Important notice: probably, better to purchase all-inclusive instead of bad & breakfast as on-site pricing policy is quite high (see menu pics)

Definitely book an over water villa. - Easy access to ocean directly from villa - Rent a bicycle for $10 per day. Easy way to get around the island and resort - Enjoyed the local Maldivian cooking class - Food options at Zest was excellent. Enough choices for both breakfast and dinner. Had fresh garlic naan prepared every night. - Plenty of drinkable water available in rooms Quick tip: if you are booking a room with a bathtub. I was cooking along him during my class. Very friendly. MIRIAM (Maldivian chef) such a kindhearted soul. Cooked along Miriam. She’s very passionate about Maldives. There was one chef out in Zest constantly wiping down the plating stations. So sorry didn’t get his name. But wanna thank you for his kindness too.

We arrived before the Christmas period, when there were relatively few people on the island. Therefore, the staff was as attentive and caring as possible. Any request was fulfilled in a matter of minutes. The food was very tasty. There was something new every day. I was pleasantly surprised by the a la carte restaurants. For the first time on all inclusive, I wanted to go to them every day instead of the main restaurant. I highly recommend Sea Dragon. The restaurant has restrictions on the number of dishes that can be ordered at no extra charge, which made them better with higher quality. We had a villa with a toilet and a jacuzzi outside. We were lucky enough to live close to the main restaurant and at the same time it was already quite private. We had our own tame lizard in the bathroom, which ate the spiders that came in. Yes, please note, there were a lot of animals. Even a small snake appeared on the last day. Given that the walls of the room are high and it couldn't get out, it probably lives in the room all the time. But none of these creatures looked dangerous. The hotel is a good combination of a relaxing holiday and entertainment for children. Whatever you decide to do there, it will be comfortable and not boring.

The only thing that disappointed me a little was the domestic airlines. I didn't understand which plane to choose to get on the water instead of flying on a third plane. It would have been nice if there had been more information about this.

The staff was amazing. At the arrival they helped us book reservations to the restaurants, to boat trips and helped us with everything we needed. Big 10 to all the personnel from the resort. The bus drivers were so nice. The girls from the playground very nice. The boys from the boat very nice! The food was good. All inclusive it’s a must on Kandima: you have access to all the restaurants, bars and entertainment places. If you travel with children I won’t recommend aqua villa. I would definitely recommend sunset villas with or without swimming pools. It’s definitely a children friendly resort!

We had some problems with the seaplane. We booked sea plane for both arrival and return trip. At the arrival they told us that the sea plane left without us. At the departure they transported us at another resort to take the seaplane and our luggage arrived with a domestic flight. This was unpleasant. Also the communication with the resort before arrival was very difficult. I send many messages via booking.com, via Whatsapp and via email directly to the property but they did not answer. I almost canceled the trip because of this lack of communication.

Kandima Resort was absolutely amazing. We loved every minute of our stay – it felt like living in a dream! We booked the Aqua Villa and initially planned to stay for just 4 days. We ended up extending for two more days as we were truly enjoying ourselves in the resort. The place was stunning, and everything was just perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful, from the room cleaners to the hotel manager. They always had a smile and a friendly word for us. The diving experiences were incredible. The team at Aquaholics was very supportive and friendly, and they made sure all our diving trips and excursions were well planned and always on time. The food at Flavour was fantastic, especially the Christmas Eve dinner – there were so many great options it was almost overwhelming! Huge shout out to our diving instructor, Paula, for being so friendly and kind. Paula went out of her way to make sure that we're comfortable, safe, and enjoying our time. She was always on top of things, making sure our diving gear was ready and helping us with anything we needed during our dives.. Not only is she a brilliant diver, but she's also an incredibly kind person. Our stay at Kandima is something we'll never forget. It was so hard to leave, and we can't wait to go back!

The atoll is gorgeous and big, the landscape & water are superb, our beach villa was insane!!!, the restaurants are good, the Sea Dragon is fabulous and the staff is so lovely and helpful.

The cocktails at the pool bar are quite diluted but the ones served in the restaurants are good

The island is lovely, the rooms had nice views, the staff were really nice and friendly, the kid's club was probably the best one we've seen in any resort so far, water-sports were great, there is a good selection of restaurants on the island with a variety food choices and decor, the lunchtime ball-sports in the pool and evening events in the Breeze bar were really nice. The Spa/treatments were extremely high quality. The transfer by Sea plane to the island was a really cool experience.

1. Some elements in the rooms/ facilities looked a bit dated for a 5 star hotel, for example the sinks in the bathrooms had some cracks which were visible. 2. Only one of the restaurants had air conditioning which was a struggle in may when the weather his hot and humid 3. The food, drink and shops on the island were very expensive / relatively modest consumption of food/drinks/water-sports ended up costing us as much as the upgraded cost of our room rate (we upgraded to a pool villa during our stay). I wish we had discussed all inclusive options on arrival or at any stage of our stay :(

Everything was great

Too many rats. We had to ask for pest control to come and assist with a rat problem in our bathroom. The rats were leaving droppings all over the bathroom floor and counter where our toothbrushes were
