From the beginning at Cinematique I was delighted by the marble floors, the many lovingly designed details, the fine cotton bed sheets, accents in the room like the blue curtain and the beautiful view of the Mosta Rotunda which still accompanies me. Albert & John adapted to my individual needs as I got another room where I could reach the bathroom better with my walker. The bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was brought to my room every day, Albert & John were so friendly, caring and always very helpful. I felt very welcome and comfortable at Cinematique and can highly recommend it for a stay in Malta. Thank you very much!

Great welcome from John and Albert - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely to be offered a bottle of chilled water on arrival and find two more in the room. Stylish rooms but at the same time perfectly functional - designed with the traveller's needs in mind, which isn't the case everywhere. Very clean, new and comfortable. And in a really nice location, a typical Maltese district, rather than a bland resort - plenty of bars, restaurants and food shops locally. Transport is easy - bus stops right outside the door, and an easy Bolt trip to the airport. Very easy to get to Rabat, Mdina and Valletta. Although the hotel is on a busy street, the noise was never obtrusive.

The bed didn't seem long enough - I'm about 1.85 and my feet were dangling over the bottom of the bed. It could have been awkward if I'd been sharing the bed.

Albert & John go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. Whether it's information about the area, tips for excursions, extra drinks in the room. Simply amazing staff!

Not a big negative: but Mosta is small and under construction in some areas, but lovely to walk around, see the church and the small streets. You could see the entire city in half a day. But it is a great location to do excursions from because it is in the center of the island. And there are a lot of restaurants/bakery's

The location was perfect for my needs, the hosts had contacted me to advise of roadworks happening outside the hotel so I was prepared but they still left me a lovely little treat by way of an apology (over something they had no control to change and had been campaigning to change). Nothing was too much trouble and the daily refresh of towels and water was much appreciated.

Not sure they’d be enough storage / luggage space for 2 people but as I was travelling alone so on this occasion it suited my requirements.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Right in the center of Mosta and 30 seconds from the main bus stops, it couldn’t have been more convenient. Albert greeted us and walked us through the history of how he had renovated the rundown cinema into a boutique hotel, maintaining the cinema-style decore and stylistic touches. His attention to detail and pride in the hotel were obvious. The room was finished to a very high standard, with state of the art climate controls keeping the room comfortable day and night. The terrace available from the room looks directly out onto the amazing Mosta Rotunda. You really have some of the best views of Malta from the terrace. Highly recommend.

The location, next to the Rotunda, was perfect and easy to find. The entrance to the street door and the room door was by code - no cards or keys to lose. Communication with the staff was easy and immediate - they couldn't have done more to help me with my stay or make me feel at home. The stylish and sleek design reflects the building's previous cinema past, with black and white stills of famous actors - I fell asleep and woke up to James Dean! The rooms are well designed, with work space, good bathrooms with spacious showers, a relaxing chair and a easy-to-use smart TV, which includes Netflix and YouTube etc. It was quiet, comfortable, I had a great sleep. I'd go back in a heartbeat and recommend this to anyone.

The owners were so hospital. Albert and John were very helpful and knowledgeable about Malta. The place itself was also very nice, and while my time was spent exploring, it was still a great spot when I needed to rest and stay in. Mosta is a cool little city. And the feast it had while I was there was pretty cool, though the fireworks can certainly wake someone up in the morning!

The stay was perfect! Albert is an amazing host, he made sure the stay was extraordinary. He was friendly and had amazing recommendations. There was a small issue with the building and he did everything he could to make up for it. The hotel itself is super modern and comfortable. Very spacious bathroom, really nice and comfortable bed. The breakfast provided was also excellent.

If you want to find a piece of home in middle of Mosta Cinematique is perfect choice. This is not standard commercial hotel, it is place with nice atmosphere and design and extremely friendly owners. Code-access to building and room mean you are autonomous in arrival & departure, breakfast is served in coffee opposite to hotel (very good coffee and even better croissants), Netflix in the room, very good wi-fi.... I enjoyed a lot, hope you will too

Exceptional hotel serviced by excellent staff that are helpful and friendly. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Great location with buses stopping virtually at the door. Great cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance.
