Marco Polo Party Hostel

A party hostel in a party island! Do not miss the word PARTY like I did. I did not really regret it, though. I met some unique characters here. These monsters were at it every night. The DJ dropping some cool house tunes. Place would get a little crazy every night of the week. But there was Yaseer keeping it all together - a superstar at the reception. Everyone at reception was pretty cool, including the bouncer. Housekeeping were doing a great job. The most polite and helpful housekeeping I've ever seen! Better than lots of 5-star hotels (yeah, I've been around). Go for a visit, party a little. You'll sleep when your back home!

The property is a bit old and it needs some investment.

This was a really fun place to stay while in St Julians for a couple of nights. Firstly, the staff were exceptional, super friendly and helpful. The place has a very relaxed but also community vibe to it, so better suited to young people, but def saw a range of ages staying whilst we were there. It is a tall building but there is a lift which is huge if you are lazy like we were. The bunks were surprisingly cosy because they kind of feel like they're set into a wall, and there are curtains for privacy. The keys to access doors/storage lockers were actually a really good idea ( you had one on a wristband which accessed your room and your individual locker), and saved the hassle of having to carry around your own keys to padlocks. The rooftop bar was great- a good vibe in the evenings, very sociable. All in all it was a good time, the staff were particularly commendable, and the location is really good for shops and buses all over the island, as well as nights out

Shower facilities esp were a little run down, and the air con seemed a little temperamental/unpredictable, but other than that it was a great time

I stayed for a month and it was the best experience I've ever had in a hostel. Even though I shared the room with 12 people, I felt like I had privacy, as there was a curtain on each bed. The locker was huge too. The hostel was always clean and smelling good. You can pay €7 and the girls will deliver your clothes clean and dry after 24 hours, which was very good. The location and vibe of the hostel are incredible, as it is excellent for meeting people and making friends. How not to mention about the people at reception, maintenance and cleaning? Lovely people and always willing to help you, with a smile on their faces. I felt extremely welcomed. Natalia, how could I forget to talk about you? I believe you are the most incredible person I met while traveling. Thank you very much for all your welcome, concern and friendship. Your work is very valuable and you develop it with mastery and lots of love. I can see it in your eyes. Thank you for all the conversations we had and your friendship.

I believe they could buy a bigger/new refrigerator, with both parts working, since they host a lot of people and space in the refrigerator can be a problem, in addition to not being able to keep meat/chicken for a few days, since the freezer doesn't work.

Location is pretty nice, and what to said about staff?? honestly they are all amazing, you feel here as a family I didn't feel at all uncorfotable, there is the bar at the rooftop manage by Malo very nice man, there is a fantastic person Natalia she always here around to talk to you with her positive energy and her buetiful smile, how cannot love her. Kalsh at the reception are amazing guy hes always smiling and very friendly and here to help if you miss anything.The manager is nice person helpfully man. I definitely will come back here. I already miss all of them. Room are clean every day.

The people who don't take shower and leave bad smell in room, people who snoring. but god thanks there are not many.

I loved the staff, they’re very caring and try the best to attend every need that you have. Thank you Natalia, Jessica and Polash. Check in is very easy and there’s someone to help you anytime. It’s a party hostel, but the sound doesn’t come inside the dorm. Sometimes they have special parties, it is good and people from outside can also access the rooftop when they ask to. The view is very nice. The dorm with 12 beds is not tight at all. My place was clean, the pillow and the blanket were enough for me. They use white bed sheets, which is perfect. The locked room is right under the bed, works perfectly and it is big, but you’re not going to be able to put the luggage inside, please. The kitchen is open from 10h to 23h to cook. You can buy your own food and put a label.

The toilets were always dirty because someone else poop and didn’t clean properly. Hostel try to keep it clean, but is difficult. I choose the female room, but the washroom is still shared with mens, as well the showers.

I stayed 4 nights at the Marco Polo hostel and it was GREAT! I got checked in by Himanchu (I hope It’s written like this) He was so nice and friendly. He made me feel like we were friends from the start. I loved the roof terrace, you have the nicest view and can just chill out and enjoy the sun. Also the location of the hostel is great, you have a beach near by and everything you need to go partying. And also a bus stop right in front of the hostel. I’ve met the greatest people and currently sad at the airport because I have to leave. I’ll definitely come back. miss you guys already thank you !

Actualy that's one of the BEST hostel i've EVER stayed in, and i've travelled quite a lot believe me ! Everything is clean, the staff is amazing, i could mention every names starting with the lovely RUTH who took care and helped me a lot when i had troubles with my credit card (Thanks again for that, you literally saved my life. No much place would have done what you did for me, THANKS <3). I could also named the 3 colombian girls that makes me feel home straight on. Also my dear compatriot Lena and her perfect english and attitude. And to finish, of course, all the staff from the rooftop, starting with the girls of course, amazing actitude, smilley, talented artists and skilled barmaid, and of course my bro from the bar, who is definitly the soul of the place. THANKS TO EVERYONE OF YOU GUYS; You've made one friend for ever, and even if i leave for an appartment on my own, i'll miss this place. But i'll probably get back to Marco Polo to play some good Electronic Music or helping you behind the bar making decent cocktails ;) Count on me to make the best promotion of your hostel any time ok ? Love you guys.

Nothing so far !

Natalia stands out as the best person in this hostel. Her unfailing friendliness, coupled with excellent recommendations, makes her a standout figure who engages with everyone in an incredible manner. A heartfelt thank you, Natalia. You are the best! Special appreciation to Cacif for always emanating positive energy and displaying friendliness at the reception. Lastly, another thank you to the night receptionist, Alberto, for his unwavering professionalism and dedication to his role.

First of all the people who work here are awesome. They are so nice and friendly. Especially the girl who made my check in and check out. Place is in great location, bus with 2 buses to/from the airport are just across the street. There is a kitchen, language storage, bar. It feels very safetly because on flour with rooms can go only check in person, who have the magnetic key, and every bed has shelf which also is open with thi key. Every bed has it's own small lamp and two power plugs. If someone like meeting new people, spending nights at party's and days on sightseeing then this place is perfect. Oh, and glownig at dark walls, are just crazy!

My room wasn't as bright as photos shows, and between my bed and wall on the side was 1m which was a little uncomfortable. I like hostels where there are showers and toilets for man and for woman separately, not like here, but it is a hostel so it wasn't a big problem.

Was in a perfect location and lived up to its party hostel name without disturbing guests who didn’t want to party (noise couldn’t be heard in rooms below). The rooftop terrace was always busy of a night with good music and reasonably priced drinks and great spot to use of a day. Bus stop right out the front and plenty of grocery shops, restaurants and clubs around and lots of beautiful hidden swim spots.

Aircon only ran from 10pm to 10am so it meant the rooms were way too hot outside of these hours, not ideal so sleeping in early or late. Showers need a bit of an update, some doors didn’t lock and some shower heads needed to be hand held which was annoying.
