Expansive with various beach and pool areas, private areas too. F&B is outstanding. Warm attentive room design. App for activity in the area too, plus best kite beach in the north in front on the hotel entrance. Overal very stylish, calm and top quality vibe with top notch team.

We didn’t mind but there is no typical white sand, turquoise water beach. Instead a wonderful and quiet infinite kidney pool on the rocks and restaurant with 270 degree view and adjacent boat house with many water sports. There is an estuary type beach with white sand with more brackish green water. Still great for swimming.

Good sheltered location which was important due to prevailing Trade Winds. Breakfast was OK, not much variety and avarage fare but lunch & dinner much better with choice of 4 dining locations. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

As is the norm in Mauritius, wine was ridiculously expensive. Menus still on QR Codes, ask for proper menu if this suits. Water was complimentary in room but R1.90 at the table? no shops or eateries nearby so taxis needed and the drivers are running a cartel making them very expensive even for short distances.

The food quality, alcoholic beverages and cocktails were exceptional and very satisfactory. The a la carte service restaurant, The Peninsula (unfortunately we did not have chance to eat at The XO restaurant) was good for both dining and lunches if you are getting tired with open Buffet style dining. The breakfast was satisfactory but a little bit lacking for cheese varieties. The bars were greatly located, decorated, and concept of the hotel is pretty cool. Perfect for instagram photos. The reefs are very closely located to the hotel and you can take daily tours to go for snorkeling or watching the reef withal a glass bottom boat.

I can’t say this hotel is ideal for a swimming experience. The lagoon is a bit dirty and does not seem appealing for a safe swimming. I am not a very pool person and I do not think pools are very hygienic in general. Still, there is a luxurious infinity pool, big main pool, and middle sized pool next to rooms. The capacity of the XO restaurant is only for 18 people whereas the capacity of the hotel is around (I guess) 300 people. Sometimes, getting your drink or beverage order takes a long time. There should be extra people working at the bars for taking orders and delivering beverages.

It was our honeymoon and we opted in for an all inclusive option - typically those don't offer the best quality food but Paradise Cove went above and beyond. Beautiful place perfect for a romantic getaway :) Staff is very friendly! Good activities throughout the day

Service could be a little slow, gym is quite small, impossible to book a bike tour unless very in advance, a little far from the airport

This is an absolutely first-class resort. It has a very quiet location at the north of the island with a one of a kind private cove that is perfect for safe swimming, and beyond into the lagoon. Really helpful and lovely staff. Fantastic food. Drinks are okay. Tipping not required at all, but it might gain you some favours with the bar staff. The grounds are immaculate, there's loads of activities to do, which are free and there's additional paid-for options which will make this a stellar option for romantic couples. We took the Catamaran out for a couples sunset cruise and this was superb. Also enjoyed the on-beach You and Me dinner which was delightful. Wifi performed brilliantly. SPA massages were good. Overall, a truly fantastic place to spend a couple of weeks.

Music - It was the worst elevator-music you've ever heard. They need to pay attention to their demographic a bit better on this front and find some nice chill music to play. Wifi coverage a bit spotty in some areas like the gym, and some hidden costs are a bit of a downer at times, i.e. room service charge and hire car collection/delivery costs you don't find out about until after you've committed to it.

Friendly hotel and restaurant staff. Amazing housekeeping service. Wonderful variety of pools and lounging areas. Clean. The room like the entire hotel is stunning, spacious, well decorated and thought out. Excellent selection at breakfast. Highly recommend the rum tasting offered by the hotel. Great activities on offer - tai chi, yoga, snorkelling, glass bottom boat trip, variety of water sports. Food at XO restaurant is delicious!

Boathouse staff are not as friendly as the hotel staff. Food at the Pennisula is not the same standard or favouring as XO or the main dining restaurant.

The hotel is very nice, a boutique hotel in the true sense of the word. The rooms are very nice and spacious, the food is good and diverse, the evening entertainment programs are super ok. Paradise Cove is a place where you feel great.

A weak point of the hotel is the beach area, because due to its location you cannot fully enjoy the ocean water. A solution should be found to clean the water in the area between the beach with sunbeds and the peninsula. As it stands at the moment, the water in that area is not very attractive.

A truly special place, Paradise Cove isn't paradise because it's the most perfect or the most luxurious of resorts - instead, what makes it paradise are a combination of the beautiful surroundings, the amazing staff and the incredible food. When you put it all together you get a place which is both gorgeous and 'real'; which allows you to truly relax and holiday in a way you want to. There are plenty of places to sit - two pools, the beach and plenty of cabanas facing the sea and cove. Our favourites were the cabanas on the far side of the peninsula with an uninterrupted view of the bluest sea. Being in Michael's area for service was always amazing - he's a true gem. The resort never seems too busy and you can always get a spot where you need it (in the shade, in my case!). The Cove itself was not as sparkly and blue as the sea despite the team's attempts to clean it daily, so we preferred to swim the other side of the peninsula, but this did not detract from our experience at all. The food was exceptional. We also ate at The Cove and XO, as well as the buffets and Peninsula. I've never seen anything like the Christmas Day buffet - Kevin, the pastry chef, had been cooking for 2 full days apparently and it showed. He's the one responsible for the fully edible chocolate Christmas trees in our rooms which the previous reviewer talked about. Incredible attention to detail. We particularly enjoyed Peninsula for lunch. I had two massages and a scrub at the spa which were gorgeous. The staff there were beyond lovely and it was a real haven. The gym is also very well equipped with two treadmills, two spin bikes, a rower, cross trainer and full sets of weights and weight machines. We used it quite a few times. There is a pool table, dart board and board games, as well as a well-stocked book shelf. We had a lot of fun in the evenings after dinner.

Better advertising of the various facilities within the resort so we knew the different options - I'd seen they did Water Aerobics so I showed up and I was the only person (it was still great fun!).

We had an amazing week! Staff was so kind, polite and friendly. Food was delicious, the hotel is big enough so we're not on top of each other with other customers. Food was incredible, everything was freshly cooked and catered for all tastes such as vegan, veggie, meat, fish etc. The hotel infrastructure is also beautiful.

The beach in the Cove got green and quite smelly with loads of plastic waste in it towards the end of the week because of stagnating water - wasn't the best to swim, especially the smell. Perhaps weather related. The All Inclusive pricing is too expensive for people who don't drink alcohol. We had lunches and coffees all week on half board and never matched the all inclusive pricing, we were well below that. Hard to justify the cost of all inclusive.

The property itself is beautifully maintained and the staff are lovely. Fabulous view from one of the restaurants of the water across to the islands.

Japanese food was a bit of a letdown for one of our dinners, but the other restaurants on site made up for that. Also, there was a lot of confusion initially with my booking, which meant multiple emails and phone calls to the hotel to seek confirmation that they had, in fact, received payment through bookings (unlike what their initial message suggested).
