We very much enjoyed our stay here. The service is excellent with such friendly and polite staff to tend to all your needs. The all inclusive package was great value, with a variety of food and drinks on offer. We really enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, with lunch and dinner constantly changing. The freshly baked bread and pastries were great and we loved the egg/omelette, pizza, pasta stations. The activities on offer were also great and we made the most of it - water skiing, tennis, kayaking, gym, spa, etc. Would happily come back!

Pillows were not very comfortable but everything else was great

Best hotel in mauritius, 1st for the price and 1st for performance. Rooms are so close to the sea, you don’t have to change 2-3 golf cars for transport. Sea, pool, volleyball, beach bar, kano, padeling, everthing is too close to each other. You can reach every facility easily. With coconut milkshake you can taste the best pina colada at beach bar. Night activities are perfect also they finish at 11pm so anyone will not be angry for noise. Hotel employees are so kind and helpful. Beach football, beachvolley every activity is perfect, sea is gorgeous, fruits are the best. 13.09.2023 Alp Karacoban.

There is a woman near reception, who sells tours for casela or boat tour… She didn’t pay attention for us so I booked our tours from the taxi guys who gets you from airport to hotel.

Half board, breakfast and dinner ok, location good, very good spa. Good facilities and entertainment for kids!

Half board, drinks not included, not even a bottle of water and really expensive. But there are bars and restaurants close to hotel, half price ( beer, food). At the check out I asked to see all the bills I have signed for drinks and food we had during our stay. There were bills included for lunch which I didn’t sign ( stuff signed them!) and luckily I could prove we were on a visit trip all day and it wasn’t us having lunch at the hotel! So check your bills if you don’t have all inclusive package!!!!

1. Great resort and location 2. Comfortable room 3. Good food 4. All amenities available 5. Positive environmental policies like no plastic straws and plant-based bottles in room 6. inclusive local beer 7. Great water sport options- esp SUP

1. Chauvinist dismissive attitude of male staff esp in dining areas to solo female travellers - ignored, often and very sporadic service 2. Annoying music every night means no option of sleep before 11pm- double glazed windows insufficient. Wake-up is the prompt 6:30am mobilisation of room cleaning trolley… hence not much sleep for an island holiday! I Categorically requested the quietest room and the hotel is designed pretty much so every room is facing the evening entertainment area. So know there is no alternative to this. While it was great so participate some nights… it shouldn’t affect one’s sleep

Great hotel within walking distance of Grand Baie. The hotel's private beach was lovely and there were always a lot of loungers available. It's easy to get to Port Louis for a day trip too if you want to check it out. The rooms were spacious and airy with a spectacular view of the pools and beach behind. The staff were extremely friendly especially Asraf who cleaned our room. Good variety of food at breakfast and dinner for our half board stay

Sometimes the water supply would cut out and once it happened mid shower which was very annoying At the time of booking it stated that hotel transfer was included with stays of more than four nights but the booking.com page had changed when I checked back and we were informed there would be a charge Clearer communication about what is and isn't included with each room package would be good. We were half board but no drinks were included at dinner time, not even soft drinks or water. As a few people have stated only one bottle of water was provided as complimentary in the room for the entire stay.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. Everyone at the bar and in restaurant, I can't remember all names but Laurenza was specially attentive and Ritchie, the barista made amazing coffee . The animators were amazing, very friendly too - Chris, Greta and others. We are usually not big fan of participating in activities, but here we got proper workout and some fun activities too (aqua gym where you exercise properly and not just jump in the water, full body workout, yoga, volleyball, water polo etc). I turned up to full body workout one afternoon and there was nobody (usually all packed with people) and Greta did the whole class just with me. The food was very good - I am very picky and generally dislike buffets, but the food was made freshly in front of you and good quality too. Every day they did different cuisine theme, so not much repetition too. The room was very clean and modern - we paid for beachfront room - great view and a small balcony, The pool is infinity pool overlooking the sea. Plenty of sunbeds available both on the beach and at the pool, no need to wake up early and reserve. Evening entertainment was surprisingly good. Every day you got live music, some performance and dj. Some days it was happening at the bar, others at the beach. The hotel is not huge so it takes 2-3 min to get to the bar, another 2 to the beach. We booked hotel in Grand Baie as we expected to go out for food, drinks and some entertainment in the evenings, but the hotel was so good and provided it all, so we only ventured out one evening. We went to their sister hotel for a visit and didn't like it - yes it was a bit newer but it was very quiet, pool was tucked in inside and the beach was rocky.

The hotel is a bit dated - not the rooms (they are quite modern) but outside areas. It didn't bother me, but I guess some people prefer everything very new and modern, this hotel isn't The main restaurant does look a bit like canteen - they try their best decorating tables every day but we preferred to seat outside by the pool or overlooking the beach not in the main area inside. One thing to be aware of is the beach is in the bay area, so you see the other side of the island when you lie on the beach not the ocean. We took a boat tour around and the other hotels were not in bay but had rocky beaches. ours wasn't so it wasn't bad. Not sure how beaches are in the south, east or west side of Mauritius.

The location close to the town of Grand Baie was perfect! It meant that you were not confined to the resort. The room was adequate and cleaned properly. Plenty of entertainment and activities to keep you entertained throughout the day and night. We liked the style of the exterior of the property and it felt authentic.

We did not enjoy the food. Although everything looked so well prepared and beautifully presented, the food lacked seasoning for us. Seasoning food once it's already cooked doesn't impart flavour. We understood that it was prepared for a mostly European crowd but I feel that certain dishes especially the local food should have retained their authencity. We are South African Indians and felt that we were not given the same degree of attention by staff because we were mistaken for locals.

Liked the fact that the hotel was split having a dedicated section for honeymooners. The food menu was diverse, with a lot of options, and most of them were different every day. Being in honeymoon offered us a range of gifts to choose (massage at the SPA, dinner at the a la carte restaurant). The position of the hotel is also very good, in the heart of Grand Baie, having a lot of shops, restaurants, bar and supermarkets just outside the hotel. Also, it is near the public beach, where a lot of daily boat trips are taking place to Ilot Gabriel and Ile Plat. A lot of water activities are offered (kayak, stand up paddle, water bicycle etc)

The hotel needs serious renovation and improvement, especially the bathroom. Some meals at the buffet were quite bland (some curry meals). The attitude of some employees at the restaurant can be improved (we were trying to take a seat at a random table at the buffet, and one lady yelled that is reserved even though there was no sign of reservation. The gym is a joke for a 4-star hotel. Few, old, and rusty equipment and quite small for such a large resort. The food at the a la carte restaurant was average.

Excellent location, beautiful sandy beaches. Lot of places to walk around . Well maintained gardens, external facilities, room was very nice, well maintained, beautiful large swimming pools, very good entertainments at nights. Staff were excellent, helpful and went out of the way to make the guests stay pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. We were very sad to leave. We are vegetarians. The first couple of days we were not very impressed with vegetarian options of dishes from the buffet, but the staff very kind and made some special vegetarian dishes upon our request. They were very willing to cater to our requests which was much appreciated. Satheesh was particularly good and made sure we had good vegetarian food.. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

A very minor point is the pillows in room. They were too soft. They gave us additional pillows. They said they don’t have any firm pillows at all available. One suggestion I would make to the hotel administration is to have some firm pillows available should any guests request. I feel some guests particularly older guests may prefer slightly firmer pillows.

Absolutely perfect hotel, beach location, lots of pools for smaller children too. photographs are online do not do this hotel justice. Great choice at meal times, love that water sports and boat trip are included in the stay.

Mosquitoes are everywhere, hotel do provide sprays and plug ins for rooms but I would definitely suggest taking a repellent for when your sat out.
