Benny is the perfect host and owner. You can tell that he takes pride in his cabanas he crafted and maintains with his own hands. He was at the door when I arrived and made sure that all my questions were answered. The cabana was perfect for my needs. I didn't use the loft sleeping space as I was by myself. The small kitchen area was equipped with cooking pots and pans, and a two-burner propane hot plate. Bring a lighter or matches. The outside courtyard was sweet with colorful tables and chairs. The location was perfect, near the center of town and on a relatively quiet street.

Cabañas Rústicas El Benny is a top place to spend a few days in the lovely little town of Loreto. The Centro Historico is right around the corner, 1 minute away with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The malecon is like 10 minutes away. The rooms are located in a lovely garden, very peaceful. Wifi is good. Rooms are clean, and Benny is a top host.

The bathroom is a bit on the small side, as well water pressure is not sensational, but I would not say this is a showstopper to keep you away.

Our cabaña was clean and comfortable. It has stairs inside (wanted to note this for anyone who is disabled). The location is excellent, close to downtown. The shower was hot and had good pressure! Beny was a helpful and kind host. Parking was available on the street for free as advertised. The courtyard in the back was full of beautiful greenery.

It was loud at night with barking dogs and vehicles on the streets around the property. Just bring earplugs. Probably par for the city.

Location is perfect. 2 minute walk to plaza, Mission, restaurants, shops. 3 minute walk to grocery stores. 5 minute walk to beach! Beautiful part of town, cobble streets. Bike rental on the corner. Rental car company less than 10 minutes away. Safe. Habitation was completely clean. Center of units has an outdoor table, and lush tropical plants. Unit had small kitchen area, and bedroom was upstairs. Owner Benny is awesome. Highly recommend a day trip to San Javier.

A great little gem of a hotel - basic but very comfortable and cute. Benny was very friendly and knowledgeable and has created a lovely garden oasis in the middle of the historic center of Loreto, complete with mango trees.

The kitchenette was great, and could only be improved with some utensils.

the cabanas are super cute, well designed they have everything you need to be super cosy whilst you stay in Loreto. The location is great a few mins off the main square, on a lovely quiet street. The decor is super cute and I think the pictures don’t actually do them justice. My cabana had a mini kitchen, three beds - a double and two singles, sofa & chair and a small bathroom. The details and care were gorgeous and I now want to buy lots of blankets in local textiles! the garden patio was a lovely place to have breakfast. a perfect set up if you want to bed down for a few days and go at your own pace.

The shower pressure wasn’t the best but it was hot and clean, a couple of hooks to hang up towels/clothes from the beach would be handy. Otherwise it was perfect.

We live in Baja. Our visits to Loreto are both business and social. Once there we like to walk to as many locations as possible. Cabanas was perfect for that. Great location! The owner greeted us and visited at length with my husband. "Benny" is a VERY nice person. If it is important to you--he speaks little English (not important to us). The 4 units all face a beautiful garden. Ours was very "efficient"--small, but all necessities were there. Overall, it was one of the best trips to Loreto we have ever had!

Very few things. Our unit was new. Benny told us we were the 2nd people to stay there. The cabana is charming. My only critic--and I think it was because it wasn't quite finished--would be something on which to hang towels in the bath, a place for luggage and/or to hang clothing, increased lighting in the sitting area for readers...and a mirror in the bathroom (he has one immediately next to that room)

Benny, the owner was wonderful, a very nice helpful person. Good location, the cabana we had was set up to do a little cooking; hot plate, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and flatware. The cabanas are situated around a garden, access is through a locked gate, so it felt very safe. Our cabana was very clean.

Benny and his wife were very friendly and helped me get a great taxi driver. I am a senior female and felt very safe wandering the neighborhood and beaches. The accomodations made me feel at home and garden was great. There is a supermarket close by as well. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends

Each cabana is unique, with individual tile mosaics and painted bricks (for example) as features. The central garden makes a lovely sitting area. It’s very central and convenient. Beny was very helpful!

While we loved the central location, the drawback is noise from the street. Having said that, we slept very well.
