I stayed here two nights, one on the way down to the east cape and once on the way back up. I was travelling with a one year-old pug. Reception gave us packets of squishy food both times. This is a very chill, dog friendly property--maybe too dog friendly. There are dogs everywhere and a pack of half a dozen can be seen at most any given time. They were all friendly and some had collars. Not too noisy or distracting but I like dogs. The aging collies are property dogs from what I gather. The reception and restaurant staff were friendly and competent. House keeping moved in on my room while I was making trips to the car in the morning and had my coffee cup in her hands as we passed on the walkway. WTF? The restaurant was hit and miss. The first night, steak and shrimp fajitas were very good. The buffet breakfast the next morning was meh. No OJ. No solo potato dish. Funky smells from the pork dishes. Coming back, the fajitas for dinner were only fair. No guacamole. Breakfast was very good with OJ, country potatoes and scrambled eggs with chorizo in the buffet. Received two free drink coupons from reception on the way down and one on the way up. I called them on it and they shrugged it off. A/C worked perfectly. Fair pressure with hot and luke in the shower. Fridge, microwave, decent bed (kinda' short for 6'3"). It's been here awhile and is in a great location, right on the beach, kinda at the end of the waterfront business area. The price and value were a fair deal, for sure. Coulda' been cheaper, coulda' been spendier. I'd go back and I hope to soon!

Location is very nice. Front desk staff was very helpful. The dark sand beach in front is very large place, ideal for morning and sunset walks and other activities. Great breakfast, friendly staff. We liked the traditional style of the hotel and the optional themed dinners during our stay. Parking and pool. Great advantage is the car rental office on the premises. The main beach street starts from Oasis and has nice views of the Sea of Cortez and the bay.

Just a suggestion - a shuttle to/from airport would be nice to have. There is only one taxi company at the airport that charges $ 25 for the ride of 2 miles to the town.

Well maintained, huge and an exceptional property located right at the beach. The rooms were neat, clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They did take out time to walk us through the property and amenities. At a walkable distance from the marina and the city so you don't have to worry to drive around. Enjoy the sunrise right from their restaurant in front of the beach. If you are luck you can see the whale spouts in the distance during the season. Open parking is available on site and they have a good spread for breakfast. The best part was we got this property at an affordable rate.

Nothing in particular

The area the hotel was located. Only hotel on the beach. The hotel was quite and close to everything. Went on a panga tour to Coronado island and we were picked up and dropped off on the beach in front of the hotel, did not have to walk to marina to get on or off the panga. Staff there were nice.

Dog poop on side walk out side our room for a couple days. Unattentiveness of breakfast staff and out door staff at dinner. We did not have dinner but had to wait a long time to be asked if we wanted drinks and after our drink order waited a long time to get the drinks even though the bar was about 10 feet way from us.

we loved the location and our king suite Oceanview accommodation was great. The food was really good and the staff was amazing. But definitely they should change their policy and allow cancellation, at least 30 or 60 days in advance! because we couldn't get a flight out we had to cancel two days of our reservation. No refund at all. But they did give us credit to use in the restaurant and bar which was helpful. Still seems weird not to allow advance cancellation.

The beach and a view of it were directly outside our room. Great breakfast, with a wide selection of hot food. Kayaks were available for the guests, and we enjoyed taking them out. Easy walk along the Malecón to the town center. Very nice and clean pool with warm water. Excellent restaurant right on site.

It was easy to hear guests in the adjacent rooms, but we were fortunate to get neighbors who didn't keep late hours and were fairly quiet. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator, at least for cold water. Some of the rooms have these.

Loved the location. It's easy to walk into the Pueblo magico for dinner and it's at the end of town so you feel more like it's a deserted area - awesome breakfast buffet including chilequiles - basically breakfast nachos, so you cant go wrong., staff was very friendly. The room was cleaned everyday.

You can hear the neighbors next to you very very well so it doesn't always feel very private. Nearby restaurants were celebrating Christmas so there was some loud music. The pool could use a bit of maintenance.

Always loved the fresh OJ at brekkie and the view is not to be denied. The location is at the end of the malecon so there is no traffic in front of the hotel, just a lonely beach. Anything you need is within walking distance. There's a liquor store, a convenience store, lots of bars and restaurants and the colonial section is just a couple of blocks away. The rooms are basic, but I always get a nice view, big towels, and sometimes there are goats roaming around. One year there were piggies. It doesn't get much better than that. Oh, and free cookies at the front desk.

The customer service was excellent, from all their employees. Our original room has a bathroom leak, after figuring out it would need repair they upgraded our room to a suite. The location was also excellent. Breakfast which is included was also very good. Friendly atmosphere. The hotel isn't fancy and we could have opted to stay at a hotel with more luxuries and commodities, but it was a great experience that we would come back to this hotel anytime we visit again.

If there is anything I could say is that the rooms and hotel overall may be a little outdated, but that also brings out its charm so I'm ok with that.

Location,musicians,ambiance,staff, thick cushioned chairs, Loreto it’s a great place to visit if you want a more laid-back type atmosphere. There are a few pubs open late at night but mostly people get up fairly early and go to bed fairly early. We loved it. Restaurants are everywhere are U-turn, and it is a very safe town. it’s a walking town you can fly in, take a taxi to town, and be just fine walking around town. I would suggest that you get lodging either downtown or towards the beach like we did. We stayed here at the hotel oasis for a week and then went up to near the mission and stayed at Posada de Flores and were gone two weeks and had a nice visit. We rented a car two different days and went to Mulege a day, which is north. The other day we went to see the big cathedral at San Javier. Both were nice days. Do NOT drive at night, and watch your steep while walking I all of Mexico. There are big holes in the ground and on the road. We ran into a lot of people that rented cars for the whole time , and it’s really not necessary. Our rentals for $75 which sounds like a lot but it covered absolutely everything. People here are exceptionally friendly.

Wind and weather but not hotels fault obviously. We were there a week and had a great time but we are older and feel that teenagers would not find it so wonderful unless they went on excursions. Loreto is a quiet town like many in Mexico used to be. For us that was a real plus, so visit here if a more peaceful place is in the cards.
