Quite comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and the grounds in general were lovely. I think I got a good deal on the price as it was a last minute booking so overall, happy with the value (except WiFi issues).

The WiFi was pretty poor. I couldn't make a VOIP call and it would drop. As a nomad, this was kind of important. They also, not sure why, didn't provide soap. I thought it was a mistake, but on the second night (post cleaning), still no soap. A headscratcher?

Comfortable mattress. Super hot water. Friendly staff. Wifi was fine but probably depends which room you get. It was very accessible from the highway but still easy to walk into the centre. There didn't seem to be a carpark but we did not ask because when we arrived there was a free spot directly in front of the hotel. Overall, given the prices in the tourist areas of Chiapas, this hotel has an excellent price-quality ratio.

The mirrors in the room are really low, for a person 1.6m or shorter. The breakfast. Dry hotcakes. The coffee was very weak.

The staff was very nice and helpful they even took care of our laundry for us. Our mattress was very uncomfortable but once we told them they quickly swapped out the mattress for a comfortable one. Great value

The restaurant was very substandard but most hotel restaurants are not very good so that's to be expected. But it doesn't matter cuz there's many places to eat in the area.

The hotel is located ca. 15 mins walk from the bus station and 4-5 blocks from the center. It features a very nice colinial architecture with a large inner garden/patio. It is very reasonably priced.

Furniture/etc, is quite basic, they could do more out of the potential of the wonderful building.

The architecture of the building was amazing - the pictures don’t do it justice! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable.

The hotel was comfortable. It was simple but very comfortable. The staff was great. We walked to the main square from there.

Especially beautiful is the garden, which is located in the courtyard and can be seen in the photos. On foot you can easily reach the center of the village.

Before the particular incident, we would have criticized the following: - very poor WLAN - few sockets in a bad location - no storage space in the bathroom - no good seating in the room (only on beds) Then we experienced something shocking: We had left our room for maximum 1 hour and came back to the hotel again, there was a staff member standing in our room and filming the room with all our stuff (really everything! Bathroom, the closet from the inside, ...). He explained it as house rules and that they would always do it this way, because if things disappeared from our room, you could tell from it what was there. We were very disappointed with this incident as no one informed us of these supposed house rules at check-in and there is no safe in the room. As compensation, we received a complimentary breakfast.
