The facilities were all clean, well kept and they had special look to them. The buildings weren't the typical square, black and gray paint. There was a big green area in the middle, if you enjoy listening to birds or bird watching there are opportunities to enjoy them. The staff what super helpful and kind, My wife and I were in the pool all day and they didn't have a problem if we ordered from apps and have them deliver it directly to the pool. The breakfast was a good experience for those who don't know too much about Mexican Cuisine, at the time of writing this it was $190mxn for guests (around $11usd). They don't have a bar, but there's a convenience store next door and they let you bring in food and /or drinks. The pool was warm enough that our bodies didn't have an "adjusting period." They had enough parking and didn't have problem with that. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean with enough water pressure.

We only had one issue, one of my wive's deodorant went missing right after they cleaned our room.

The suites were large and furniture was comfortable. Rooms were clean. The breakfast was delicious. Parking was conveniently near rooms. Grounds were quite nice--tropical plants, and parrots flying overhead. The pools were small but refreshing.

The ladders to enter both pools were slippery and hard on the feet. The area around the pools, was paved in beautiful stone, but also slippery--we would recommend some type of anti-slip strips to prevent accidents. Location is on the west end of the city, making it somewhat distant from zoo, shopping, market, etc. in Tuxtla. It is located near the southern perimeter highway so major central city traffic is avoided if that is the traveler's wish. There are some restaurants and large malls in walking distance to hotel.

The staf at the hotel was extremely welcoming and helpful. The installations were nice and maintenance was good. The location was very central, just across a big shopping center and close to public transport and taxis. Walking to the center was also doable 40min walk.

The WIFI connection was very weak and there was a big group of guests that took over the swimming pool area and stayed in that until late in the evening during a couple of days. Fortunately I was mostly out during the time the group was at the swimming pool and I could still enjoy the swimming pool in the morning.

Room is very comfortable, I loved both the bed and pillows. Washroom is quite big as well. The restaurant attached to the hotel is amazing, with great food and fair prices. You get a small discount for being a guest. Unfortunately the pool was being fixed. However, the hotel granted us a day pass to other hotel so that my nephew could enjoy a pool. They were very kind and helpful. There is parking inside the installations and the area is very safe. The stay was perfect.

Everything about this hotel is excellent! The price is amazing for what you get, rooms are comfy and clean, the bathrooms have a very good size and lighting, the hotel has beautiful gardens and pool. It's quiet so you get a good rest, free drinking water, cable tv, excellent wifi and hot water. Staff is super nice and attentive. The hotel also has a restaurant that offers a buffet breakfast at a very good price and the food is delicious. Location is good, walking distance to a nice plaza/shopping center, restaurants, supermarket, banks, money exchange and pharmacy. Public transportation is easy to use and takes you anywhere and you can take it right outside the hotel. The room size for me was good enough and even though I read other reviews about the AC making a noise I had no problem with that.

clean, friendly staff, hot shower, comfy bed, nice swimming pool, across the street from Dominos who make a good deluxe pizza called the Dominator, not far from occ and ado bus terminal, not much english spoken in Tuxtla since it isn’t a touristy area (which is nice), although Sumidero canyon is pretty spectacular, good wifi, decent cable tv on a flat screen if you need to catch up on espn sports back home or brush up on your spanish with some telenovelas, and very reasonably priced at 20-30 bucks a night depending on room size and how many beds you need….

People at front desk are not very welcoming as well some at the restaurant they don’t want to attend tables, a woman was kind of mad when one of my kids ask for a glass of juice

I landed in TGZ after midnight. Most hotels in Tuxtla do not accept late check-ins but Im so glad to have found Palmareca. My friend who has a local sim called the hotel to let them know I was arriving at around 1:30 am so they waited for me. The security was very nice and walked me to my room. They have a few taxis on site so there was no wait when I needed a taxi. Drinking water is provided in the hallway.

Really clean rooms. Garden is very well maintained with a nice clean pool. Rooms are cleaned every day if requested. Warm shower was lovely to have. Felt safe and comfortable. Beds were big and cosy and pillows were really comfortable too

Breakfast is too expensive.

Location is perfect for a night in transit, if you're on the wheels. On the main road but far enough for quietness. Walking distance to big supermarket/shopping center. Well trained staff. Ample room, well equipped and comfortable. I did not try the breakfast because it starts only at 8.00 (too late for me).

Noisy aircon. I just turned it off - it was not too hot. Furniture could benefit from renovation. But at this price level (less than USD 30) I really can't complain.
