February 2023

The bed and room are very comfortable, good and quiet space, and fast efficient lifts. Great room service too. The reception staff, especially the Concierge staff, are really happy and helpful with everything... I felt very safe in their hands! It's also a great location near Zona Rosa, and walking distance to the parks and historic centre. The pool is lovely, great roof top view, but ....

The pool has hot water and covered from the sun, the sunbeds are in full sun with no shade, there are no cool showers to use before or after swimming (unless go back to your room) and the bar is empty... Cannot get a coffee or drink there and there was building work going on with the thatched covered area in the garden while I was there. Only other queries 🤔's... The room is supplied with a coffee making machine, but no coffee. Other hotels give a bag with coffee, sugar and cream to make coffee with. The password for WiFi changed but nobody told me, until I asked days later .... Hurrumph!!

Hotel was very centrally located, very aesthetically pleasing, great pool and rooftop area (although I wish hours went later), excellent staff, quite comfortable. I had to work remote a couple of days from here which was also very comfortable, with reliable and fast internet. I liked that bottled water was provided daily as well.

The rooms did not have refrigerators, microwaves, or coffee makers. Only a small ice bucket was provided, and ice machines only worked on certain floors. Staying on the 22nd floor, I had to go down to the 17th floor to get ice every few hours to keep only a couple of drinks cold. Don't plan on having leftovers or a consistent supply of cold drinks if you stay here. I recommend bringing a cooler if at all possible. My bathroom seemed like it hadn't been cleaned when I checked in, but this was rectified very quickly.

August 2023

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Sevilla Palace Hotel in late July 2023. The hotel's prime location on Paseo de la Reforma, right in the heart of Mexico City, made it a perfect choice for exploring the city's attractions, such as the Revolution Monument, Angel of Independence, Diana the Huntress Fountain, and the Palace of Fine Arts, all within walking distance. Public transportation stops for Metrobus, trolleybus, and tour buses were conveniently located less than 100 meters from the hotel's entrance. There were several Starbucks cafés, diverse restaurants offering breakfast and business lunches, pharmacies, huge shopping center Reforma 222 and banks nearby. 1. Check-in and Interior: The check-in process was seamless and efficient. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, courteous, and friendly. They spoke English fluently, making communication easy for non-Spanish visitors. The hotel's aesthetic interior, beautiful elevators, and relaxing lounges on each floor with city views added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The rooftop featured a heated outdoor pool protected from the sun and a hot tub. 2. Room Comfort: My room was well-appointed with a large comfortable bed, a soft armchair, and a work desk. When they noticed two laptops, the housekeeping staff thoughtfully provided an extra chair for our convenience. Additionally, the missing TV remote, which I had requested the previous night at the reception, was promptly brought to the room.

3. Breakfast: Though my room rate did not include breakfast, it was available for an extra fee. However, I found the breakfast cost slightly overpriced. For two people, it amounted to $650 MXN. 4. Wi-Fi Connectivity: The only downside during my stay was the Wi-Fi quality on the 22nd floor. The connection speed was insufficient for work and comfortable internet browsing. Interestingly, the Wi-Fi functioned much better around the pool area. During check-out, the hotel staff acknowledged this issue and recommended next time requesting a room on the 8th to 10th floor for better internet connectivity, assuring that they are actively working to resolve the problem.

It was a very comfortable property with great rooms, friendly staff and a really nice breakfast buffet. We used the heated pool every day. We could really spread out in the room, with plenty of drawer and closet space. The location was perfect for us, halfway between Chapultepec and the Zocalo, good access to the Metro and front door to the Ciclovia on Sundays.

The rooftop gym was a great idea but a lot of the equipment was out of service.

The location is good and close to the revolution monument. Restaurants and places to see are close by. Parking is very simple (except when there is an event on reforma and they close the street)

The only thing, even though it's not the hotels fault, is that the city closes the street when there are events, making it very difficult or sometimes impossible to access the parking garage. Like I said before, I've stayed here before several times, and if I've ever had an issue, they resolve it rather quickly.

Good and safe location, could walk to the centre. Bank and mini market close by. A bus stop along Reforma right in front of the hotel. The room was spacious (I had two beds), with an equally spacious bathroom. Breakfast was alright too and the staff there were very helpful.

I had a room with a connecting door to the neighbour room, which enabled to hear all night conversations there :( As read in previous reviews too, the staff at the reception was rather rude and not smiling when asking a question. A pity!

Nice an clean

The desk employee, when checking, definitely showed racism. As I waited to check in, I was looking for my reservation number. She never said I could help you. Just told the man behind me to go first. As soon as I started speaking Spanish, her eyes and face changed. She was not expecting that I'm fluent. The miss treatment only since I'm not from mexico doesn't mean I shouldn't get the same respect.

The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were very nice. And awesome views of the city. The breakfast is a little expensive but worth it with lots of options and staff very attentive. The hotel is also in a very good location.

No coffee provided in room and the jug was also missing from the machine. The shower was not hot at all which was disappointing. Personally I found the pillows very uncomfortable to sleep with.

The location was great as a tourist. Rooftop pool was nice but always busy. Staff were as helpful as they could be, but didnt speak a huge amount of English (not complaining, just a heads up for any foreigners that don't speak Spanish well)

The room was acceptable, but barely. Worst bed I've probably ever slept on, rock hard. The basin and shower both wouldn't drain properly.

Everybody was very polite and respectful. Everything I needed a taxi, the staff and taxi drivers were excellent. I felt safe traveling alone.

The sewer smell in the hotel and also my room smelled like feet. There is a pleasent deodorizer system that I have experienced at other hotels that elevates the stay experience. Hopefully you guys can look into it.
