Staff very friendly and energetic. Rooms were clean and comfortable Breakfast was amazing.

The swimming pool should be extended for guests that arrive late to their rooms. Elevators should have AC on .

The buffet breakfast was excellent. And the staff serving it very nice and professional. Also. The gym was small, but very clean and functional.

We found the cost of the laundry service excessive for a place like Mexico.

Nothing all was good.

The beds were great; comfortable with nice crisp sheets, nice pillows. The room was an ok size and had coffee maker, fridge and being on the 6th floor was pretty quiet (I had asked for quiet rooms). The bathroom towels were nice and thick. We had booked a room with a 'view' over the river and it was nice to look out onto water, but it was unfortunately marred by the industrial installations. (Obviously the hotel can't help that, but just to inform people that you will be looking at an industrial river scene). The rooms were for the most part very clean, apart from a big dirty area on headboard which I had to remove.

Check in was hopeless; extremely slow (not "express" at all) and even though we arrived well after 3pm our (2) rooms weren't ready and we had to wait. There was only 1 luggage cart for the entire hotel which was parked in the reception area with bags on it all the time we were waiting. The bags belonged to 3 men sitting in reception who weren't even using the cart at that point. We asked if we could use it (remove bags, take ours to the room, return cart and replace bags - 5-10 mins max) but were told no. I had an injured leg, and we were with a child. If hotel policy allows people to hog the cart for such a long time they need to get more carts. The rooms were clean, but carpet in the corridors was filled with bits and elevators were dirty. Our room had a stopped up sink - at first it barely drained, then it stopped and gunk came up into it. I had to call twice to reception to get someone to come and fix it. The guy that came did a good job but left dirty water all over the floor. The bathroom light was super dim. The aircon was useless; blew over one bed only and didn't maintain the set temperature. The breakfast was awful; Extremely over-crowded and the food was horrible. They made everyone wear plastic gloves (presumably for hygiene) and the floor was littered with discarded plastic gloves and other trash. We sat outside where not only was the floor littered but there were ants all over it. It was all so unsanitary it made wearing the gloves pointless - they just added to the huge amount of waste plastic the hotel generated. They ran out of clean forks so we had to use plastic ones (more plastic). They seemed very short staffed. Even though we had breakfast included it was such an unpleasant experience that we ate breakfast out of the hotel for the rest of our stay. Window insulation was loose. Many beaches nearby are covered in trash. We would not return.
