Oldschool hotel with atmosphere. Perfect location in the heart of medina, but calm in the night. Kabir and the other gentleman at the desk were nice and helpful. Room was bright, spacious and clean.

The only problem are very noisy doors from rooms and shared bathroom. It was impossible to close/open them quietly in the night, even if I'd tried. And some other guests hadn't tried at all..

Mohammed and Kabir were very helpful. The hotel was in the centre of everything you needed as a tourist. Kabir contacted me weeks before my stay to confirm and information of travelling to Essaouira. Not many hotels do this.

They don’t provide loo rolls or soap in case you arrive late when all shops are shut.

Nice hotel in the old town/medina of Essaouira. Cost value ratio is good and Kabir is probably one of the kindest receptionists I have ever met in 35 years of travelling. He is a very smart guy, talks several languages fluently and is always willing to help you out in case of questions. Gebhard

Great value , great location. Very nice staff. Kebir was really friendly and helpful. They don't do coffee but there's a great cafe just round the corner. The roof has one of the best views over the city

Rooms a bit small and dark, you can't really spend time in them except to sleep. But that was fine with me as it was great value and that's all I wanted to do.

The place is simple, with a great vibe and a clean bathroom. Kabir is an amazing person who is both professional and friendly. Mohamed is also very helpful. Since I've been going there for many years, I always feel secure and at home. Everything is conveniently located near the hotel. I'll return once more. Thank you Kabir and Mohamed :)

The location is perfect for exploring the the old quarter and all of the staff are very friendly. Kabir is very knowledgeable about the area and happy to give advice on places to visit and things to do.

Kabir from hotel was super nice and helpful person. He always ask if he can help or advise. Hotel is quite basic, but there is everything we needed. Perfect localisation!

Historical building but need renovation. Only one toilet for four rooms...

It's well located in the Medina. Wifi/hot water work well. The staff are all very friendly. The rooftop is a great spot for sunrise/sunset. It's a budget option because the building could use some updating. I found the tile work in the stairway and rooms to be quite charming. We were supposed to stay for two nights and ended up staying over a week. For the price I couldn't be happier with this place.
