Beautiful Riad. Good location, great value, very very friendly, pretty pool, nice decor. Super kind staff.

The staff smoked continuously and the smoke drifted into our bedrooms. We didn’t feel comfortable asking the manager and staff not to smoke in the Riad since they were in charge. It was difficult to get away from the smoke while trying to enjoy the sitting areas and the pool. The only place to escape their constant smoking was on the highest level of the roof. If you are a smoking guest then you will feel right at home.

The Riad was beautiful, set across different levels from the cool shady seating at the bottom with the level that we stayed on. Our room had a four poster bed with a tiled stone floor and Moroccan features. The ensuite bathroom was clean and spacious. We were unprepared for how cold it can be in Winter so we had a hot shower to warm up, put the heater on and added the spare blanket and duvet. In the morning we headed upstairs for breakfast. This level housed the tiled pool, potted plants and mosaic tables. Stairs led up to a sundeck. We sat at our usual table to soak up the morning sun with our freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. Breakfast was perfect - Moroccan breads and dips, pancakes, croissants, fruit salad - the variety changed each day. The staff were so happy and friendly, giving us tips on where to visit. We booked the taxi to and from the airport via the riad which saved on any unwanted stress on arrival in Marrakesh. The location was ideal making visiting sights walkable - usually wandering through the souks of the Medina and making the rowdy Jemaa el Fnaa our base point. There were plenty of rooftop restaurants and bars nearby for sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Marrakesh and will be recommending Dar Najat to everyone! Three nights, 4 whole day was good length of time including a day trip to The Atlas Mountains and the stunning Jardin Majorelle.

We liked everything

All of staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always a lot, we were well fed all the time. The instructions given by host was useful, everyday room cleaning service was spotless. The location was perfect, in the middle of the old town, easy to access the big square. Wifi was available and good reception. It was good value to stay, I would definitely come back and stay in here again in the future. Thank you for making my family comfortable during stay.

The room was a bit cold and damp, as there was no sun coming in the room, however, I can imagine that it would be similar in other accommodations, because of the house structure in Marrakech, high buildings, no windows from outside in the each room. While you are staying in Dar Najat, you can always go upstairs, there are open areas to sit and chill, sunbathing, also extra blankets in the room were enough, so it wasn't a problem at all.

We had the most wonderful stay at this riad, and it was truly made special by the incredible staff. Hajiba is a gem—her care and attention to detail are unmatched. She kept our room spotless and added such thoughtful, artistic touches that made coming back to the riad a joy every day. Her breakfasts were simply outstanding, a perfect start to our mornings with fresh, delicious dishes made with love. Aissam was equally amazing—always kind, cheerful, and full of great recommendations. He served breakfast with such warmth and charm and made us feel so welcome. His tips for exploring the area were spot on and added so much to our trip. The riad itself is nice and quiet, but it’s really the people like Hajiba and Aissam who make it a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend it enough and would return in a heartbeat!

This Riad was one of the highlights of the trip. The place is extremely well kept, the service is great and they staff are really lovely. I went for my birthday and they had prepared the room with rose petals and a happy birthday sign. The room was clean and tidy every day. The breakfast in the morning was a feast and delicious and the staff really went above and beyond when we needed some food but we were going to miss breakfast they prepared some snacks and a coffee machine in the room the night before to made sure we were fed and caffeinated before our tour. It was very centrally located so we were able to get to the main landmarks with a short walk. Shout out to amine for being a great host!!! 10/10 would recommend.

Riad Dar Najat felt like visiting a close friend’s home, warm, welcoming, and full of genuine care. From the moment we arrived, Amine and Ahmed treated us like family, not just sharing tips about Marrakech but engaging in meaningful conversations about life. It’s no surprise they were fully booked, we wished we could have stayed longer! The location is perfect, just steps from the Medina yet wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Every time we returned, we were greeted with mint tea on the house, a small but thoughtful touch. The rooms were cozy, spotlessly clean, and filled with charm, and the breakfast on the sunny terrace was the perfect way to start each day. After staying at other riads later in our trip, it was clear that none came close to the experience at Dar Najat. Their warmth, attention to detail, and even the company of their lovely dog, Vladsko, made our stay unforgettable. If we return to Marrakech (and I know we will), there’s no doubt we’ll be back at Riad Dar Najat!

Friendliness of staff and their keenness to help. variety and quality of food at breakfast. Also as there were 9 in our group including teenagers they were so flexible with breakfasts, ensuring everyone ate just as nice a meal as the first person. 5star service. Location - quiet but less than 20 min walk to main square. Recommendations of places to eat and drink. Booked taxis for us. Only regret is we didn’t have time for dinner at Riad as I’m sure it would’ve been delicious. Allowed us to store bags on the last day and even to go into room to straighten my hair etc before flight as we’d booked a Hamman in morning. Made us tea, coffee whenever we wanted.

Dar Najat is a beautiful Moroccan house located about 10 mins from the Medina. We stayed for 4 nights and were welcomed by Amin and were made to feel at home. The rooms were adequate and nicely decorated every day. The ladies who did the room and also served breakfast were very nice and kind. The breakfast was great with decent variety each day and changes to the menu everyday. They accommodated us with a late check in and served breakfast early when we had to check out 30 mins before the usual breakfast time. I would highly recommend staying here.

Given the focus on sustainable travel, one suggestion would be to let the occupants decide if the towels need replacing every day. There was a bit of confusion as they forgot to collect the 3 Eur tourist tax during our stay and we had to hand it to the driver on the way to the airport.

You MUST stay here! The staff are amazing and will go out of their way to help you with anything and everything. It’s spotless with good WiFi and in a central location so everything is with easy walking distance in the medina. And although it’s in the centre when you are inside the Riad it’s like an oasis of calm from the madness out the door! My tip would be to arrange a taxi with the Riad as they have one that can get you near enough to the door whereas I booked through booking and it wasn’t as smooth sailing as I would have liked being a first time visitor to the city! The breakfast is delicious and certainly sets you up for the day and is entertainment in its self! All in all, if we are ever back in Marrakesh we will be staying here again ♥️
