Photos online do not do this guesthouse justice - we stayed in family room for one night. It was spacious, the mattress was heaven, and the shower was huge with good water pressure. There was a comfortable area around the pool to relax and enjoy a drink. It’s a very secure property with fence and secure free parking. Great complimentary breakfast with fresh fruit and made to order eggs and bacon. The owners are friendly and helpful and out kids liked their cute dogs and cats.

Unheated pool was chilly but it is wintertime and it seems outdoors pools are unheated in Namibia

The guest house is situated in a very quiet location, has secure locked parking and a lovely garden with the cleanest swimming pool we have seen anywhere. It was easy to find and upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner. Our room was compact but spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything we required for our overnight stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio in the evening. Breakfast was excellent and included cooked options as well as cereals, jams and toast.

This place is absolutely spotlessly clean and a delightful location to stay for a few days ... or a month ! Felt like home and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Nothing was out of place - everything was perfect and I highly recommend staying here. It was one of the highlights of my stays in Namibia. Very secure and safe.

Our favorite accommodation in Namibia! The entire property is kept in perfect shape and designed beautifully. The rooms are very nice and cosy with all sorts of amenities provided. In the morning delicious breakfast is served. The hosting couple are lovely people. Unfortunately we only stayed here one night as a pit stop on our way to Etosha National park, but would have loved to stay longer. Enclosed parking is provided for guests as well.

Very quiet guesthouse in a secondary road of the city, nice neighborhood. The rooms are modern and spotless clean, just a little bit dark. The owner is a very kind lady, she suggested us the good nearby restaurant "Out of Africa" for dinner. Breakfast was very good (excellent coffee!). Excellent value for money.

This guesthouse is good for a stopover on the road from Etosha to Windhoek (or vice versa). Be aware that Otjiwarongo does not offer much to do, apart the crocodile farm (this is not of course the guesthouse's fault!).

The place is doubtable at first when you get there, but in the long run you will get all you need there - a small pool, very clean - morning breakfast is well served. (self service) - parking is available, their yard is very secure. (camera surveillance) - customer service is of great standard. - i got there very late and they still waited up for me and treated me very well.

- They should improve on having bathroom essentials (face cloths, body soup) - The fact that one have to leave by 10:30 the following day, i feel it is not fear. - They should get a mobile number online, in case the office land line is not answered on time.

We had a wonderful stay! Our host was very kind and helpful, allowing us to check-in earlier and providing us with restaurant recommendations. Excellent and plentiful breakfasts - yoghurt, fruit, nuts and seeds; cold cereals and granola; cold cuts and vegetables; eggs and bacon; tea, coffee and juice. Clean and spacious room with plenty of shelving. Well maintained pool with comfortable loungers. Beautiful garden.

Wi-Fi cut out occasionally.

I had a wonderful stay at Kamaku guesthouse. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the site is very clean, there is a very relaxing atmosphere and it's located close to local services. Great Wifi too! Secure parking behind a gate. Would 100% recommend and stay at again!

Very friendly staff with great breakfast. The atmosphere was very pleasant and it felt like we were at home throughout our stay.

Sad to see the for sale notice on the wall, because it is truly a gem for any traveler.

The owners are fantastic. They are friendly and caring. We had engine problems with our vehicle and upon making it to the guesthouse they were making phone calls to a friend who is a mechanic. The friend came out the next day on a Sunday free of charge and told us what was wrong with the car. These folks go out of their way to help and treat you like family. Best place to stay in Otjiwarango and we have used other guesthouses.
