Room service took over an hour and a half to be brought up Receptionist staff were not very welcoming or helpful It was a real struggle to get the staff to provide the name of the halaal food service provider to confirm halaal status of food Waiters mentioned they do not get their tips or get them very late

The hotel was a great choice, with an ideal location easy to access the rest of the city. Unfortunately, I only stayed on night so was unable to make full-use of the facilities available at the hotel. The room was very large and spacious!

As we had to check-out of the hotel early in the morning, we were unable to enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. Instead, we asked the hotel to prepare a takeaway breakfast, which they happily provided. However, the meal was quite basic and not very appealing, but the hotel breakfast cannot be judged by this.

The rooms were exceptionally big and clean and very spacious. The pool and gardens were also excellent. The hotel is still undergoing renovations and at least the workers were cognisant of guests and did not make noise early in the morning.

The restaurant staff needs training on the services offered and on hospitality in general. We had booked a half board option, reception told us the menu but the restaurant staff had no idea what was going on. Eventually we were served rotten fish. It seems no one in the staff always knows what is going on about the services in that hotel. The half board is a scam, don't take it!

Hotel is big, nice grounds. Two pools, bar, restaurant. Rooms are comfortable. Lobby has a nice seating area. The restaurant is good, many choices for the included breakfast, and other food options.

Reception staff provide conflicting information. I was checked in and given a key to a room that was ready, but it wasn’t. Waited about 25 minutes for a change to a “ready room”. Also, staff member provided information about a late check out fee while another staff member provided a different fee at time of payment. Fee was waived due to this discrepancy, but their information was contradicting. Lots of work/renovation/modernization going on, lots of noise to include Saturdays and Sundays. Location: away from places of interest and shopping. Hotel doesn’t have a gift shop at the moment.

Breakfast choice and quality was delicious. Rooms spacious. Reception and dining room beautifully decorated. Swimming pool and gardens beautiful.

The hotel is being refurbished and will be great when finished. At the moment the rooms are very old fashioned but having said that they are clean and spacious. Just to add, there is a hotel in the same complex of a lower star rating that shares the swimming pool and gardens. If I am paying more for my hotel it should not be shared.

I booked the suite and I was very happy about it, great views very large, comfortable excellent bedding. Loved it. The swimming pool open 24 seven it’s a very big plus. And first of all the stuff was absolutely fantastic. Daria, Lusia, Emma Dora, Augusto and everyone else made my stay amazing.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff very helpfull and friendly and they assisted me with all the questions I had. Laundry service was on time as per the times given and I had no issues during my stay.

I was there when they were busy with the final part of the new foodcourt/reception area which looks great but was not fully operational yet. The only restaurant onsite had a very limited a-la-carte menu but also offered buffet, which made up for it.

The hotel has nice and spacious rooms, if you are lucky, you will get a room with a pool view, so appealing especially after a long day working or travelling, or you can go chill by the pool and order your drink and/snack and just unwind. it is closer to Aros Aiport, a walking distance when it is not dark. The food was great and the prices are reasonable. I never had their breakfast

I was satisfied with everything

I arrived and requested a large bed, this was done for me, after a long haul flight just wanted to stretch out and sleep. I did not bother with breakfast but have stayed here before and after this trip and can say that breakfast is excellent with a lot of choice and fresh. My room was very clean. All the staff are very polite and respectful. I recommend the spa for a massage too

Great reception and restaurant area that served an excellent breakfast. The staff were excellent. Good location to stay if you are heading south out of Windhoek.

Rooms were a little tired. But the hotel was being refurbished as part of the rebrand to Mövenpick so I am sure they will be better once the refurbishment is complete.
